Wow lucky I found this thread. Well I have no knowledge about car. My Honda city 2007 around 4 years already haven't change tyre due to low mildege. But since now I change new job everyday run here n there. Full tank also last me 3-4 days only. I plan to change whole 4 tyre cause 4 years I scare it danger and feel the bouncing hard now. Thinking of changing continental cc5 heard it good n silent. For 15 inch which best for me? Budget around rm200++ but cheaper better yet I want silent n long lasting lah Thanks

185/55 R15??? u can try Michelin PS3... it is nice for ppl like u, running around a lot... it's grip in dry and wet is nice, and much better than CC5..
*** you have tires discussion thread at the Fast and Furious main page but mainly it will drop to 2nd or 3 page... so use the search function at the bottom left to look for it... just type the word "tire" it will help u to look for it...

Wow michael really sifu know my tyre size this morning I go check only know 185/55/r15 using goodyear nct 5
Sorry sifu, before post here got read some review from other forums. Some say ps3 good some say go for cc5 silent comfort and some say cc5 new tyre than ps3. At first I tot sony ps3 now only know it from michelin the sporty tyre maker. Can u roughly explain the two major different n price wise. But still silent, comfort n long lasting is my concern. Any one heard speed mag auto at bandar Tun Hussein onn? It near my house but dunno their pricing

no la... i'm not sifu...
FYI michelin is not known of make sports tire... ppl know it's tire is expensive but worthy... Continental i have problem with it... the tire is like jumping when i put it on the balancing machine just after 4~6 months usage... the tire is CC1 now being replaced by CC5... it is a know issue according to my sifu and still ppl pushing/selling it like hot cake... it's grip is bad in corners especially wet braking also poor...
if you really run around i would recommend you PS3... CC5 is entree level altough it is new just out end of last year... but PS3 is performance tire which is another category or level.... it give you the dry/wet grip which CC5 will never give you, of course the sharp handling response....
since you say comfort is your proirity... then you should find Yokohama C Drive or Michelin Primacy LC which is in premium comfort category... which is 1 setup up... CC5 is same level with Michelin XM1, Yokohama A Drive and Goodyear NCT5 with me which all is not in my sight...
I'm running around too since i'm a technical/application guy, so both of my cars is on Hankook V12 195/50 R15 and also Michelin PS3... well all my family 15" tires is more towards performance except my mum's Avanza... i prefer grip grip grip, slightly noisy is ok for me of course i treasure my live more... of course the noise cannot be humming all day long like those extreme tires... so PS3 is your best bet... 185/55 R15 is officially available too...

XM1 is only entree level and it is a comfort and low noise tire... good for daily driving for normal pace... if you are a but spirited or always in higher speed driving like in Klang Valley i prefer you to get a better one...

Now it feel weird taking high speed corner with d01 tyre at front... u might want to change to PS3... it grip better than V12... and response it sharper also... change the D01 to V12 la... then u can get better feeling at corners... D01 is just the entree for performance i think... V12 is Ultra High Performance already... PS3 is ranked at Max Performance... BTW i'm using 2 sets of V12 and 1 set of PS3 now...
