Ah, explains why I couldn't find them.  bangwall.gif  doh.gif Not going to switch to 19"...  laugh.gif

A friend used to have P Zero on his car, then switched to the Hankook that's frequently discussed here, and he's happy (first with an S5, then F-Type R). A friend of his also switched from P Zero to the S1 evo2, and he too is happy (Giulia Quadrifoglio). Then again the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy 3 are supposed to be great too, and are in a similar price range.

Those Hankook S1 E2 7 V12 E2 should be a great value for money compared to the other premium brands.
F1A3 so far has not been getting as great reviews as expected though, mostly around middle of the pack, but it has unique characteristic of being silent which is very rare for this type of tire.

I guess the new P Zero is under also under silent category, majority of the common sizes are under 70dB.

Yeah anything below 70db is pretty silent already. Most others are above 70db.

No need to go wider, just use much better tires than that shit Silverstone! My recommendation to you are listed below in order:
Michelin PS3: the best, most well balanced high performance tire for this size. Also the most expensive (close to rm250/pc) but worth it!
Goodyear F1D5: practically match PS3 very close, also excellent well balanced tire between dry & wet performance with pretty good durability too. Price also almost reaching PS3, maybe just a bit cheaper.
Hankook V12 Evo2: so far today should be the best value for money as it's the cheapest in this list (only around rm180/pc) but gives performance almost as good.
Bridgestone RE003: excellent in the dry (maybe the best) but not as good in the wet, seems to focus more on dry performance than the rest in this list. Also will finish off the soonest coz the tread wear is the lowest at only 220 (the rest are 300 or above so last longer). Price now maybe around rm200-220/pc.
Yokohama Advan Fleva V701: the newest tire in this list but seems also the one with the most mixed reviews, some say decent enough but some say not so good too. Price similar to RE003.

toyo t1r not really up to the league now. Maybe old tech and now made in local which had degraded. The price tag is not cheap either. RE003 would be good in dry but for all rounder i would pick Advan Fleva/v12evo2.

Oo i see.. Yup, as far know T1R made in malaysia.. biggrin.gif

How much for v12evo2 for 195/50/16 or 205/50/16..? the price range similar with fleva or reoo3..?

For fleva got reviewed that the tire is screeching a lot during cornering..

Before toyo have factory in malaysia, they are made in japan last time. The traction is different. bangwall.gif

For v12evo2 i not sure the pricing. but i guess roughly 280-300 i guess? Last year i got it for RM290 per donut for 215/45/17. Price wise, hankook will be cheaper compare to advan fleva and re003. Fleva a lot mixed comment. At first i'm choosing between fleva and v12evo2 as well. But i give up on fleva. rclxm9.gif
