QUOTE(then17000 @ Nov 13 2011, 09:01 PM) BS - Bridgestone...... Added on November 14, 2011, 6:12 pm QUOTE(torreto @ Nov 14 2011, 06:29 AM) to me the Yokohama A-Drive R1 is a useless tires I've been using it just a month due to no other option my previous Dunlop SP Sport maxx burst when i was in kelantan and A0R1 is my only choice that time and i couldn't stand it. The tires is lacking grip even when I made a hard corner at the speed of 70-80km/h it's almost give away, and I don't feel any confident at all driving with this piece of rubbish rubber. Just replaced it with Bridgestone RE-002 now that's what I call a decent piece of tires. 450 a piece 205/50/16 at Bridgestone Sunway. Wah! from Dunlop Sport Maxx to A-Drive R1, a few steps down woh! How is the RE-002 against the Sport Maxx? Dry I think RE-002 is better, wet maybe Sport Maxx?
Oh! BTW your Sport Maxx is the directional one or the TT asymmetric one? |

I tried the T1-R before but not matching to my car, maybe heavy as I find the sidewall too soft.
For wet still love the GY GS-D3 for aquaplaning resistance, and lately the Asy 2 also is very good is wet handling. |

QUOTE(skool @ Dec 3 2011, 12:07 PM) I'm looking for 175/60/14 tyres. Can anyone here help me finds this size coz all tyre shop i went said don't have. Have not seen in this size. Even if have will be uncommon and will be very expensive. Moreover in case of any problems and you need to find replacement you will be stuck. Better to get tyres of a common size..... |

Every brand of tyres have their own range from entry to Max or even extreme performance, so you have to choose the tyres not the brand.
Entry level should give you the durability not Max or Extreme performance, as these gives you the wet & dry or extreme performance so durability is lower.... |
