QUOTE(Karim2 @ Dec 31 2011, 06:47 PM) Most of the larger tyre shops can order for you if they don't have, but they are really expensive, bumpy and traction is not as good as normal tyres...Added on January 2, 2012, 10:14 pm QUOTE(oec88 @ Jan 2 2012, 09:17 PM) Can Try Yoko Advan dB V551 also.....This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Jan 2 2012, 10:14 PM |

QUOTE(oec88 @ Jan 4 2012, 08:26 AM) Yeah, that's the size I'm using now. RM465 seems reasonable. Have one member using on the forte (I think), and loving it......Added on January 4, 2012, 7:57 pm QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 4 2012, 01:41 AM) if you're willing to try, PLEASE provide feedback Wet grip or aquaplaning? They mention grip should be okay since under Advan category. Have to wait for the member to try first and feedback.... they are really really expensive though since it is yokohama's top of the line quiet/comfort tire as far as i know the tread wear isnt that ideal for such an expensive tire (soft compound, also using the new orange oil thingy compound that c drive 2 are using) and wet grip isnt anything to talk about. other than that, no other negative feedbacks i've seen for these. As far as I know, Teo plus are normal tyre only......
For your size, probably should try Yoko C-Drive 2 This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Jan 5 2012, 08:16 AM |

QUOTE(fieznur81 @ Jan 7 2012, 06:56 PM) a noob question here. how to tell the tyre are entry, mid, or performance type? is there a list that we can refer to? Well, you have to know your tyres to know what category they are in, but normally the larger ultra low profile performance tyres are the top range tyres, then the comfort performance, High performance, touring tyre, etc.....Mostly can tell by the aspect ratio but not always correct alsoanother question here. i'm searching for new set of rubber for my already bald tyres. got a quote for new 195-60-R15 Conti CC5 at RM216 each. Not includes balancing & alignment. is it considered ok at that price? i might turn to secondhand tyres considering my budget. got offer for same tyres at RM170 for 2pcs already. For the list, no not all brands in one list, but you can refer to the manufacturer website and read them. Normally high end on top, but again not always also.... Buying second hand tyres you have to be careful. Look for manufacturing date of the tyres. Thread pattern balance, sidewall for injuries, curbing, crack lines, tyres repaired before for puncture etc., and so on...... If dated to old, like more then 2 years, don't take them.... |

QUOTE(thefryingfox @ Jan 9 2012, 10:32 PM) Have not compared the two, as have only used S-Drive before, but for performance both should be equally good.S-Drive tend to wear uneven is absorber are not good, PS3 more comfort. Based on technology then PS3 as they are newer. |
