KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is rapidly building a supportive ecosystem for the development and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), according to Datuk Seri Yeoh Seok Hong, Managing Director of YTL Power International. "Our first AI data centres are being built, and our universities are focusing on building AI talent," he said. Yeoh highlighted the collaboration between YTL AI Labs and Universiti Malaya (UM) in creating the Massive Multi-task Language Understanding (MalayMMLU) as a key milestone.
