If you are just going to be a "tenant", anywhere is fine for you, really.
There isn't much in Cyberjaya so if you're looking to establish "new connections" or rekindle your "social activities" then don't bother - it'd be best if you do all those immediately after work before you return home because once you head home, you don't come out cause the travelling will discourage you if your determination doesn't.
In terms of food selection, it is very limited as of now. Just a handful of decent places where you can get a good meal and 90% of them are fast food. Uncle Don was recently opened so that's that. I would still advise you to "dabao" before going back home.
That's what i've gathered thus far from my 5 years experience living in Cyberjaya.

It depends on what you want in home surrounding. If you're looking for peace and quiet as well as cleaner air and environment, then cyberjaya is very good. If you're those who looks for social activities like pubs or drinking places, you'll be bored. However, if you're into jogging or cycling, cyberjaya is one of the best with good parks and roads.
As for non-halal food, it is better than a few years ago. There were more non-halal restaurants opening before pandemic but unfortunately, the pandemic caused a stop to it. As for fast food, everything is available here. There are also a lot of cafes and western food too. The nearest Chinese kopitiam type food are available at Puchong which is about 20 to 30 minutes drive away.
Shopping is limited to a few small malls only. Basically, neighbourhood malls and not big malls like mid valley. However, IOI City Mall is not too far away. That is why need to have some sort of own transport such as car or motorbike.
The good thing is there are a lot of new condos where you have a lot of choices. Need to be careful as some are better and some are not so good especially the cheaper ones.

I would say no.
Coming from someone who stays in Malay majority area… food choices are scarce for me. If I could turn back time, I’d move to a place with more Chinese food options and variety. This area that I’m staying now 9/10 restaurants all sell the same thing. After one month, you get sick of the food options here and start making your own meals.. that is if you have time.

late 20's and cyberjaya wont mix unless you work there. almost a dead city thr, travel time long to KL to kajang, if u looking for quiet and simple lifestyle with minimum human interaction, might be a good place to avoid friends and family from other place. i see most ppl oni hangout at the mekdi and starbucki opposite the dhl office je most of them time, up ahead that mainroad got a mall but i heard inside oso not much thing to do, pretty much the current starling mall tho.
if u looking for some chinese food, the small town in dengkil might be your only choice but oso only kopitiam level of chinese food. public transport accessibility almost non existence maybe once MRT2 opening you have more choice.
if u ask me, i would rather settle down in kajang area (although kajang is not for human live 1 as according to
hurricane21) or some where near nilai or cheras where you basically have more choice for everything.
edit:typo

Why some parts of the story don't add up?
If u really earn pass 5 figures (even a lower band) you wouldn't care about the RM500 difference in rent between KL and Cyber. And honestly la, cyber rent isn't all that cheap. A 900 sq ft in cyber cost around RM1.3k and it's about the same as some areas in KL.
Ok, and then u talk about food and say u don't cook. Unless u like Malay food, get ready for your food bill to shoot up if u only want to eat Chinese food in cyber. Cyber do have Chinese restaurants but the restaurants there are not those shops that have several vendors in them. Cyber has zero of such stalls. The Chinese restaurants in cyber is normally those air cond types so u can be sure your Yeong Cheow Chow fun will cost a minimum of RM10. If u dont mind, then oklor. And mind u there is only around 3 Chinese restaurants in the cyber area. And u may hear some people say Dengkil/Taman Equine. Yes, but u need to drive at least 20 minutes to get there. U ok with this?
And ur job now can WFH. Yes, but have u thought how far this gravy train will go? Once no more WFH, easily 80% of jobs are in KL/PJ. By the way where is your office?
And mixing with ppl. Cyber is generally 70% Malays, 20% Foreigners and 10% Chinese and the rest. Who u want to mix with? And where u think u can mix with them? Cyber only 1 pub, so where u intend to make friends? Park? MCD?
The only point going for cyber is only their slightly better air quality. But with all the construction going on, how much better than other parts of Klang valley?
And what job u doing?
