are you on Celcom network? I got this issue too, Then I switched to my other simcard just to login.

After successful login then I switched back to my Celcom network to watch Astro on The Go.

i purchased world cup pass for 120rm. I have win10 laptop and latest chrome. Downloaded the player extensions. Trying to watch qualify matches which was broadcasting but only audio in coming NO video. I am using unifi 50mbps LAN connection. what happened?

Hi

I have same issue , no streaming from chrome . only audio and there no video . please help.

TV1 streaming is better than astro,not sure why they are not fixing it.

I've been trying to solve this problem for the whole day. The solution is to use Firefox version 51.0
1. Download it here https://filehippo.com/download_firefox/72944/
2. Install it (please take note firefox will automatically update, and the version will be updated on your next restart, so make sure to go tools > options > advance and tick "never check for updates".
3. go to astrogo website it will prompt to download and install the plugin
4. walla, you can watch it in HD.

You are on non-supported browser. Please use Google Chrome instead for uninterrupted experience or older version of Firefox v51 (32-bit)


While chrome gives video render fail errors :@

Thanks for the instruction.

Have tried but no use , Firefox plugin is not responding and browser is hung. More over using the old version is huge risk for security concerns.

I am left out of all options now , technology is improved so much and yet unable to stream paid content .....:-(

I had the same no video only audio problem on chrome.

I just let it play for a while and eventually the video stream will appear. It took like 2-3 minutes in my case.

If you get the failed to load video or something like that error, go to settings in your chrome browser and enable hardware decoding if it's somehow disabled.

my hardware acceleration already enabled ;-(

I guess i have tried all options ...no use ... still dont understand why its so difficult to stream the video.

raised issue with astro go , it said they will respond within 48 hours .. not sure if i am going to receive any response at all..

add to it , I am able to steam all video sites without any issue but for astro go.. .... this is first time i am having these king of issues with video plau back. anybody there in astro go...?

I'm able to watch it, only problem is that it's not 1080p. It was better on stadium astro in the last world cup. Feel i'm being ripped off for this World Cup Pass.

Hi, are you able to get stable resolution? Mine the resolution is not constant. Keep changing from good quality to blurry. However, on the Astro Go app is fine.

same v my case
Using Win 10 chrome to watch world cup astro go.
frequently cant play, had to reset network n the quality always in 480p then sometimes will back to hd but jz for few minutes.
But when i use android app to watch via same network. everything run smoothly.

Anyone have any idea ?
P/S: tried all the solution posted in this topic still facing same problem

Where should I complain? Since I pay for the pass and it’s absolutely not working. Where to complain to force Astro give refund instead of trying to turn it to user problem

I'm using it with my android TV box and ipad.
Android seems disconnected frequently and sometimes can't reconnect back.

But on my ipad is smooth and clear. No disconnection at all.

Seems like the app is buggy for android.
