Any one experiencing issue to connect to dash cam via the mi dash cam. Just change my phone and install the app. Although connected to the dvr Wifi but it keep on said not connected and can’t detect dash cam.

Can you try reset dashcam to factory default and try to connect using the new phone?

Did you by any chance, change your phone to an iPhone?

Just secure/hide the cable behind the airbag. That way if the airbags deploy in an accident, the cables won't get in the way.

Also, you can create a new thread for your installation video as this is a "review and guides" section instead of posting the same video in 2 of my reviews

Just wondering if you all experience that in between on the road, the das cam not recorded? I have this issue that when i was on the highway, not recorded at all. I thought this mijia should be loop recording non stop. Try to search the video, but nope. 😅 So weird.

You need to run and go through the setup again after changing phones. It will work after you complete the setup on your new phone.

act have reset the camera, setup from start but still cannot la..may i know what is the latest firmware avail for the camera? and do we need to use mi home app or mi dashcam app to connect? becoz previously when first bought im using the mi dashcam app

I am using mi home app version 6.4 701 but I had to manually flash the firmware, to update the English firmware. I download the SD_CarDV.bin file and move SD_CarDV.bin file to the Mi Dash Cam's MicroSD Card root folder. Let me check my firmware version and get back to you.
