Between acer,toshiba and dell,Toshiba is the best among them.
Toshiba is a solid well built lappie.
Below RM4500,you won't be able to get toshiba core duo if not mistaken.
But u will be able to get Dell Inspiron 6400.

Thunderstorm last week. Fried modem & pc, needed a computer fast, went to senq bought a notebook(Compaq Presario v2000) for RM2399 without any research. Stupid me, didnt realize it was a celeron. kinda regret buying it now.

My notebook specs:
* 1.6Ghz Celeron
* 256MB RAM (added 512MB RM200)
* 40GB HDD

My uses:
* net
* .net programming
* not so high end 3d games
* photoshop
* watch dvd

my question: should i resell & buy a better one?

really depends if the performance is not meeting your expectations. Intel will have a price cut for existing cpus in late july, and the core2 duo for notebooks should be around in august or so.

You can keep it and spend more to upgrade the RAM till 1GB or 2GB,no point selling it now as it has no resale value.
Upgrading RAM will help in improving lappie performance like running prog. smoother.
