Hows the reliability of Asus Notebooks? The design & specs are very impressive for the RM4k range compared to IBM,HP or DELL.

However, just as important is the After Sales Service. Are Asus laptops recommended?

Thanks.

ken1300,
I'm also looking for Core Duo & ATI Radeon x1400 (128MB dedicated). Choices I found are Acer 5672 and Toshiba M100-P345. But then, I will wait till PC Fair to get it. Some more get 1GB RAM from Kingston or Corsoir.

Be careful of the ATI Radeon X1400, some notebooks stated that but really hard for me to verify it one.... Hope get really god deal at PC Fair.

yeah..me going there this saturday, really hope can test all out there to determine 1. But i tot we cld check whether the graphic card is there? u mean we cant determine it thru checking the system?

nowadays Dell also giving gr8 deals with the same duo core and x1400 card, yet, the acer have built in b'tooth, card reader and webcam and most important, with the intel 945pm chipset, compared to Dell, 945GM chipset..1 is performance chipset while Dell's only good chipset...sighh..hmmm...really ball scratching..anyhow, toshiba's price a bit higher izzit?
