Some laptops are only good in the term of specs on paper, but very poor quality. pls consider QUALITY........Dell got top notch quality........even a mat salleh guy can step on Dell laptop without damaging it. Many Dell laptops survive during Katrina in New Orleans last year. never buy clone laptop. Great specification but low quality.......better buy used Dell/IBM/Toshiba than buying a new clone laptop.

talked bout x700, actually ace got 1 model with x1400...nice specs actually, less than 5k...i really moved by it at tat time, but then my frens told me to wait for dell as dell known as better quality..while acer no no no.

try twinhead~ im using it now though~ ok, no problem~ cheap~ i bought this one for rm 2899 (without OS)
sempron 3000+ 512 mbram, 64 shared vram, cdrw combo drive wat else? check their website! haha~

common use or home user: Acer or Dell Busniess use: IBM (t series) Premium Home User: Fujitsu Never choose Sony Vaio ( that suxs) but i love IBM , my first choice

ya got notebook with slide-in CD slot, that is acer notebook aspire 5562.... cause i got it during pc-fair just few week ago.... ya that cool without loading tray, cause nice and safe place too....
