Yes I did asked the SA whether there is any update for it as the car is jerking like mad b4 the update even though calibration is already done to the GB clutch. When collecting my car, the receipt stated that the ECU & TCU was flashed with the new software and the SA said they brought the car to test at their track. It certainly felt different than b4 as the sudden RPM surge is reduced even when u floor the pedal and the lag when reversing is also gone. The throttle respond is now more linear even though I have a electronic throttle controller installed and set at F-5 (more responsive).

This is great news. My next service is coming soon. Looking forward to it .

Those round fogs are probably the same as in the Preve/Suprima, and the output is bad.. thats with 55W bulbs..

1)sent sister's iriz to mutiara damansara service center for routine service. tl;dr, they're awful and should be avoided.

2)went to pick up

3)the service guy reported he noticed scratches on the passanger side bumper and asked if i want to repaint. paint flaked off all the way to the plastic. some panel gap between bumper and fender. thankfully the metal fender is not damaged.

4)came back and confirmed with owner it wasn't there before.

5)seems like he wants to pass it off that they messed up.

6)the thing is, service guy didn't do a walkaround. i even have to tell him the mileage.

7)another thing is, i have to waste time tomorrow on this shit.

8)wait that is not all.

9)part of the basic service is alignment and balancing, on an 18 month car.

10)the steering is off center. car veers to the right when you center the steering.

11)alignment my ass. not even mad.

they offered the bumper a repaint. expedite job. but will need to let the car stay at home till it cures.
alignment is fixed, better but not perfect as factory stock.
they shouldn't have done it if it's not necessary.
that's what my usual workshop does. check it first.
my dad is suggesting voiding the warranty altogether, like his wira 94.

went to check tyre pressure last night.
they just lower the pressure on one side of tyre.
when same pressure on front wheels, it veers to the right when centered.
hahahahaha.

I had this too with my 1.3 MT. Took me about 5 mins non stop trying then finally the car started with check engine light on. Drove it home. Next day when I wanted to drive to SC to check, the check engine light went off on its own. I bought an OBD so next time can diagnose. Never happen to me after that.

Guys, is there any warranty for rear wheel bearing? I've called Wanija Senawang and the SA said it didn't. Need to pay for it. My car already 2 yrs and millage is 95k.

if i not mistaken anything that related to wheel only 1 year warranty (except tires. no warranty for tires)

hais..need to pay laa ini macam.. Do you have any idea how much it cost? Didn't manage to ask the SA earlier.

since it is not under warranty anymore, just do it outside. find reputable shop to do it or buy the item and pay the labor. i not sure the price but u can call them and ask. if u call SC and if they said they need to check, u straight away call proton and try ask there. u can even try call multiple SC to check. my advice, call COE strait away. they might have the price list.

Manage to talk with proton seremban. The price for the bearing + wheel hub is RM232 without installation.

the price quite reasonable. my friend accord bearing price 500/pcs. U can buy the bearing from them and install it outside. IF u still have free labor at proton, why dont u try ask them to do it on ur next service?if not try to quote the price of installation. since we paid proton per hour, i think outside shop more cheaper.
