Sent my car to Senaxis last Tuesday, I've used them a few times, to get my car rattling done. Talked to him nicely and and for the IP kit, so far no more rattling. Hope it doesn't come back otherwise I'll be heading to COSE and complaining

Just wanna inform you guys that the latest ECU & TCU software update is available for the Iriz. Went to COE yesterday for 50k service and the car is flashed with the latest update. The throttle respond is now more linear and there is reduced jerking and sudden surge of engine rpm when flooring the pedal but not quite persona's level of refinement (maybe due to the Iriz's powertrain mounting & booming exhaust noise). Took quite a while (left my car at 9am-6.30pm) for them to solve other problems such as duplicating the keyless entry key for my 1.6 Premium CVT (saw about 4 white shirt engineers and few technicians gathering around my car for 2 hours). Have to go back to COE on Monday to change my engine mounting under warranty (no stock) and complete the coding for the new key. IP noise kit for dashboard rattling gotta schedule another appointment as it takes a full day to dismantle and reassemble the dashboard.

Was quite satisfied with the effort put in by the service team and saw improvements to Proton's dreaded after sales service. Hope this kind of service and professionalism will be replicated at other service centers nationwide. Patience and understanding however is required from customers as we cannot expect every problem to be solved in 1 day. What's important is that they put in their effort to solve the problem.

Hey, I don't see many MT users here. So quick question, do you ever have problem to start the car? The clutch has been giving me problem on and off. Sometimes after 10-15 tries, baru boleh start the car. Took it to SC couple of times, sometimes it doesn't act up, so SC fella say nothing wrong. Other times, when it happens in SC, they will 'fix' the problem

Basically the problem still exist but I don't know how else to explain this to another SC. So I just live with it and pray the next time I want to get off a parking, it won't act up and cause the other car driver waiting for my spot to feel irritated.

1st question is ur car iriz 1.6mt premium?
If yes, here's your answer. Last time when I go SC the mechanic did mention for 1.6mt premium there are 2 switch on the clutch and 1 on the brake pedal. So since mine not having issue he just change it for free for me. Without asking. Coz he said, he had it coming when he press my clutch earlier and replace it free for me. Even though I did not have any issues yet to start the car. Anyhow if I given u guys wrong information, it's not from me. Hehe

or maybe u didnt push hard enough? i sometimes get this and i just give extra push and walla, it start. but that maybe just me

Iriz FL spotted on the road. Looks like the black roof is confirmed and judging by the test car number plate, the 3 point mount/CVT update would be confirmed too. All else looks unchanged though, possibly a few changes in the final production version.

Maybe they put fake carbon wrap to differentiate or not have black as a color option this time.

how do you know by the test car number plate? different number different update?

I would prefer if proton change a bit, maybe different diffuser design or have persona's round fog light rather than only subtle change

Normally if there is a blue no.plate then some important changes have been done to the car that justifies testing. That's really the only explanation and it's likely as well.

Dunno how much will change looks wise but I'm expecting they'll add a rear fog light and possibly front sensors.
