or maybe both of our driving skill F1 style haha. i notice the botak after i got back from penang last month. and i notice my tire flat but the pressure is correct which is 210. our engine is too heavy that cause the tire look flat but too flat to me. i increase the pressure so that it can sustain the engine weight + have a good shape

Woah.. recommended max inflation for non XL rated tyres are 35psi bro..

38 psi would make the ride bumpy as hell..

I mean...to make it look, doesn't mean I'm using it at...
Besides, I believe everyone should invest in a tyre pressure gauge as those at petrol stations cannot be trusted...especially those in Petronas! So far, I put my trust in Shell...

I tend to trust whichever station has the newer pump.. newer pump means recently calibrated..

p/s: i run the tires at 32psi/30psi F/R. Helps stiffens the sidewall a little bit..

Some info regarding the specs of the new Iriz, don't take all of it as 100% fact since it's merely 2nd hand info

http://www.funtasticko.net/iriz-refinement...yang-kami-tahu/

It's confusing that the Premium version supposedly doesn't have auto fold mirrors and auto headlights whereas the Persona has it. I don't mind losing the extendable sunshade or anti pinch window but that's a bit too far with cost cutting. Hopefully this isn't true once the official specs are out.
*
The current premium variant already got auto fold mirrors, how can they remove?

My 1.6 exec doesn't have auto-fold, not even electronic fold. Many friends look surprised when they see me manually folding my mirrors. Probably cuz even G-spec axia has electronic fold.

The 32 front / 30 back psi tyre pressure is recommended here..

But with a 3 year old tyre which has done more than 30k KMs, it doesn't look properly inflated...

Sometime its the sidewall thats a bit soft.. even at the same.pressure..

Achilles has hard sidewall.. so it dont look flat.. michelin primacy 3st has soft sidewalls.. even 34psi it looks abit flat..
The good thing is that the michelins are super comfy..

Mine still on stock M3s... They suck at first, but after 10k KMs they were great! But now, towards the end of their useful life they're awesome to throw around!

But this is at Proton Parts Centre @ Glenmarie... Not too sure whether other carmakers charge similar prices...

Anyway, have anyone noticed this:

Built to compete in the WRC2 category as well as the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC), the Iriz R5 is powered by a 4B11T turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine taken from a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. To comply with the R5 class regulations, the engine’s displacement has been decreased from the stock 2.0 litres down to 1.6 litres.

lol
i think everyone here want that instead of the current offering

sigh.. in the end, only the gb and engine that prevent iriz for being a perfect car at its price range.
