33 is good enuf... will level up sooner or later.

one does not reach lv33 without knowing anything

just hit level 33 and only have 1 mon just slightly above 3k...snorlax and still not max out. stardust above 1 mil...not a lot but also not puny

Best egg imo is legacy confusion solar beam. Just ~4 confusion to charge up a solar beam.
Next to it is extrasensory then zen headbutt.

I always prefer jolteon for the job. so much neater. I feel that volt switch charge up very fast but a bit slower in attack.

Depend on u...if u always use it for battling then worth powerup. My 93% Jolteon i maxed it out cause i always use it for attacking gym. Mine is THundershock + Thunder.

That being said... If the level is high enough, I would conserve dust for other defensive Mon. Jolteon ard 2xxx cp can easily take out up to 3k cp Gary due to double weakness.

I'm hoping to have a high level Jolteon to toast the Gyarados before they shoot their hydro pump. Sometimes I can miss HP and then Jolteon is straight away K.O.
I've 4 jolteons (IV > 85%), 2 with thunder (CP 2426, 2313), 1 with thunderbolt (CP 2262) and 1 with discharge (CP 2238). I realised that discharge from magnemite is quite effective actually.

other than blissey and snorlax which take a lot of time to battle, the most annoying pokemons for me to battle are
1. Vaporeon with Aqua tail;
2. Dragonite with dragon claw.

depend on what u use it for
if u use to take down gym, yes. but if the jolteon is ady high lvl no point of pumping it up, as type weakness a 2k jolteon can take 2.5k vepo or 3k gyarados
if u use to train gym, no. i rather keep it as low as possible for the max point

Finally hatched a Lapras!!! but only at 1.4k CP

Frost Breathe + Ice beam. Good combo?
