not prestiging lor...whacking it to take over the gym

Its got kinda good defense stats, but still not high "cp-wise" and tanky enuf to buy time. Better walk chansey.

The highest 2 karps i got - one was 91% IV after evolve 2.5k gary, second one is 174cp 84% IV dont feel like evolving yet even though got >1k candy.

Ampharos is not meta and just pokedex filler.. buddy walk so much to evolve and then bump into a wild one sure menyesal like hell.

i know.... but so far now still yet to find both of the in the wild within my sight. My top priority is to fill my pokedex. chansyes wont run away one lol. i will continue to walk until i met and caught. So either get the candies or caught int he wild whichever comes first. LOL. right i only got those suppoer rare mon yet registered .

now i only left igglybff, togepi and the mareep siblings yet to registered but will keep hatching the 2 km eggs and also try to get another tyrogue from 5 km eggs to evolve to hitmontop. Those regional mon like heracross and super duper rare i dunno how to catch liao.

Ya chansey won't run away but they're ALOT harder to farm candies for powering up.

You'll need 50 + 71 candies to bring a hatched chansey to a mere level 30 Blissey (anything lower will kena cursed by team mate ).

That's 605km of walking or catching 20 more chanseys with pinap berry.

Ampharos don't need to care about IV... can just catch in wild fill up pokedex kau tim.

whichever come first lar hope it can pop right infront of me now so that i can start farming chanseys liao

Sigh..I had 100% record with chansey up to valentine's. Recently few have ran away.. 1 ultra 1 pinap...


I think what sniper is saying why prioritise ampharos over blissey... Lol

I tot he advise me not to walk mareep instead of Chansey as i can find the mareep siblings in the wild. LOL

Best on paper are D9, Fatboy, Grady and Trynitar by general consensus. But still also need to accordingly to trainer's personal preferences.

The best and only gym "defender" in the current game is Blissey.

Snorlax is only a distant second cos even a high level snorlax can be beaten by common non-powered up pokemons like vaporeons and rhydon.

The rest are just gym sitters.

As for attackers.. there's no real best attacker as it all depends on which defender you're attacking and your areas meta.

Best generalist ie attacker that may not be the best for specific defender but works well with most is obviously ...

- Dragonite with double dragon moves since it combine 2nd best attack stats with 1.25x damage for everything except steel and fairy (both don't have high enough CP to matter in gyms)

Yeah man... that's what i meant... why would you prioritise mareep over blissey... i.e. rather walk chansey to power up blissey.
Mareep can catch slowly.

Haiihhh so much peer pressure here. ok la i walk until up to enough candy to evolve flappy and change to Chansy. Then hope i can caught Ampharos in the wild.

Where got peer pressure.... lol... just sharing thoughts...
Btw, and no pressure intended, i noticed more and more ppl capturing flaaffy in the wild... just a thought for you to consider.

yeah i saw that but never appear in cheras or KL sentral. Guess have to wait for next migration hope niantic can shift them to my area.

I just reached 50 togepi candies, now only switch to Chansey (50 candies, at least 100 more to go for the 3 Chanseys I have)

Don't conform simply for the sake of min-maxing the game... enjoy yourself

Is this Dragonite worth powering up? I only managed to catch 2 and hatch 1 since playing from August.
