Waw! Bitcoin just has to increase 5% and altcoins gets a bloodbath. Would be a good strategy to exit some altcoins the next time nearing resolution of bitcoin's problem. XRP surprisingly holding up quite well.

In other news, my fun coin, pinkcoin, is up 133%! Lol. Never thought it will be pumped too but as always, no need fundamentals in crazy cryptoland.  rclxub.gif

Good for you!
Do you sell off your altcoins when they get such profits? Or do you just keep hodling?

Just hodl. It's not much anyway. Didn't expect it to increase but hoping for higher percentage gain after a few months/years.

I saw my my friend is setup up one place for his mining.. It seems it is profitable for him... Otherwise, he won't setup a new place (like room) and have many instances..

Really can do ah?
I am thinking to do also but need people to join venture together.

My advice. Dont mind. Safe ur money, direct buy the coin from the exchange.

Lend it out on poloniex for margin lending. You can set up the rate based on community supply and demand. biggrin.gif.

1. You save thousands on pc specs
2. You save on electricity
3. As long as you got the coin to lend, you keep generating new coin to your portfolio....all in while waiting for your potential coin to go mainstream with sufficient ecosystem for it to shoot to the moon... biggrin.gif

Once u take the plunge...

U will naturally learn how to do it by urself biggrin.gif.

Very easy

Based on fluctuating daily rent rate u can get return around 18%-36% p.a

But u wont get paid in currency. They paid back the interest based on the cryptocurrency u holding.

Not rent. Lend. It is for margin trading but I don't know how it works. I never want to learn margin trading due to the risk.

Similar to stock market. U can trade 100% of money u deposited in ur CDS account. You can also trade 200% of what you have. The bank will lend their money and higher trsc charge for such service.

Some pro trader like to use margin bcoz if real gain was only 10%, by using margin ur gain can double up to 20%. Same if you make a loss...

U also need margin account to short sell...

Bcoz in short sell u anticipate the price going to drop, so u sell 1st....but where do these cryptocurrency units come from if u don have it and sell it first? Ull be using the lender crypto obviously....

Once u short...u leave a position open depends on how many numbers of days allowable by the exchange or they can keep charging daily interest until u decide to close the trsc by buying back....

All these altcoins like Voxels, Foldingcoin, Blackcoin, etc...... I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what these coins are, or what purpose they serve......but they're being pumped to 25 - 40% gains in a day......incredible.

Kmarc you must be laughing yourself silly by now...... rclxms.gif

Voxels is apparently for virtual reality. Don't think it has potential as virtual reality access is limited to few gamers (for now). Folding coin for folding computation of proteins. Not much potential either. Blackcoin... forgot. All those coins I did do some research and already crossed out my list. I don't really care whether they are pumped or not. I haven't checked out all the coins but the only thing I can say is among the coins I have, the next coin that I really see potential in is SC, provided that managed to roll out their product. That will take another 1-2 years. Again my 0.000002 BTC opinion only.

Haha, I'm happy but remember that my funds are distributed across so many coins. The only regret was that my plan hardforked biggrin.gif a bit too late i.e. majority of my funds were initially in BTC and ETH. Now ETH takes up most of my fund. Minimal in BTC.

For ripple, I might just nibble into the rise. See how. Again, all my coins are for HODL. Not interested in small gains. wink.gif

Don't think so......seems it is past the peak and might be heading down as traders are locking in their profits.
I think it will head down a bit more, if you want to buy at a better price.
But then again, I am not familiar with this coin so don't take my word for it.
