I am able to recieve 47++ mbps for download on 5ghz. But on 2.4ghz, the max speed i able receive is only around 42mbps. Both speed test were done next to the router. No issue on upload speed. So, It that normal? or is there any setting that I could made? Thanks.

That's how suppose to be. 2.4GHz had too much interference so performance is not as good as less congested 5GHz. |

In ideal situations, 2.4Ghz should be able to match 5Ghz at 50mbps. But I think that's pretty good already. This is the best i get on an iPhone 6s (2.4Ghz N, 20Mhz, 2 Streams & Short Guard Interval) and UniFi 100mbps. Router is a RGX4400. ![]() More details here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=84140011 This post has been edited by soonwai: Apr 2 2017, 01:44 AM |

Anyone knows how to sync hypptv remote control, so that it can control the tv set also?
Now have to use two remotes; 1 to switch on/off tv, 1 to switch hypptv channels |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Apr 2 2017, 01:47 AM) That's fast. Which USB dongle is that? And connecting to what wifi router? Is that at 20 or 40Mhz channel width? Astro wifi dongle, connect to Archer C2600, 40Mhz channel width for 2.4Ghz band. It's not 2 streams, it's a 3 streams 3x3 MIMO wifi N dongle. ![]() https://fccid.io/document.php?id=1639911 This post has been edited by calvinlaw510: Apr 2 2017, 02:59 AM |

QUOTE(watabakiu @ Apr 2 2017, 02:12 AM) Anyone knows how to sync hypptv remote control, so that it can control the tv set also? Let's say you want to program the blue TV Power button on the HyppTV remote. Press the blue button on the HyppTV remote until the LED starts flashing. Point your TV remote at the HyppTV remote and then press the Power button on your TV remote repeatedly until the LED on the HyppTV remote stops flashing. Now you can power off/on the TV using the blue button. I had to try a few times before it worked. Now have to use two remotes; 1 to switch on/off tv, 1 to switch hypptv channels |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Apr 1 2017, 11:40 AM) If your router can do scripting, you can write a script to do so. If stock firmware, most likely cannot. Maybe can try some 3rd party custom firmware. Thanks for the info sharing! Here's a script that I use to dial pppoe until I get an IP address that I like. SCRIPT: Dial PPPoE until a Certain IP Range is Obtained Im using asus rt n66u |
