Anyone has experience to apply PR/LTVP for your newborn?
I checked ICA website, it requested for digital photo. How to take a passport photo for newborn with their requirement? I cannot ask my 1 month old daughter to open her eye when I am at the shop right? Some more I have to carry her and I myself will be in the photo as well right? Anyone?

If I am no longer working in Singapore (more than 182 days there), and Singapore tax had been paid, after return to Malaysia and got a Malaysian job, did you need to declare the Sgp income in the Malaysian tax returns?

And then, do we offset/claim back the tax paid by way of double tax treaty? Or, we just declare the Malaysian income will do?

Hi all the sifus here. I just want to seek some opinion.
I recently got an offer from Singapore, it's basically a transfer to a different entity within the group. Current salary is around RM17k, if convert to SGD its only around SGD$5700.

Is it unreasonable to ask for at least SGD$13? My logic is based on cost of living parity..., take my current package (RM17k) and add the differential in living cost (RM2k) then reduce it by 30%... to the dollar... Also given the fact I need to relocate my family (with kids) and taking into consideration that my wife may not be able to find a job.

Are there any simple formula that I can use to justify the amount? Appreciate the advice. Thanks.

I've always wanted to migrate to Singapore ticks some things in my book:

- political stability...compare that to Malaysia gomen
- low crime rate/security - compare that to the daily crime rate in Malaysia man and how safe is it to bring up a family here? How dependable is the Malaysian police force here?
- a much more organised and cleaner country. Shows a lot about the quality management.

But I'm just wondering what if I could not get a job there due to the competition? Or I want to avoid the office job and just become a full time trader?
