Wouldn't recommend SSD when your budget is low.

How about these?

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - 1029
MSI A320M Grenade - 335
Corsair 8GB DDR4-2133 X1 - 260
MSI RX 570 4GB DDR5 Gaming X - 970
WD Blue (7200rpm only) or Seagate 1TB - 212
Corsair VS 550W - 248
Tecware F3 case - 124

RM3178 total (C-Zone prices)

Too much for topup?
How about these?

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 - 1029
MSI B350M Mortar - 480
Corsair 8GB DDR4-2133 X1 - 260
MSI RX 570 4GB DDR5 Gaming X - 970
Samsung 850 Evo 120GB - 286
WD Blue (7200rpm only) or Seagate 1TB - 212
Super Flower Leadex Silver 550W - 359
Corsair Spec case - 299
Dell U2417H 23.8" monitor - 1029

Plan 2.0

MSI RX580 ARMOR 4GB - RM1030
RYZEN 5 1400 - RM819
MSI B350M GAMING PRO - RM435
KINGSTON VALUE 2133MHZ 8GB - RM299
KINGSTON UV400 SSD 240GB - RM399
WESTERN DIGITAL BLUE 1T HDD - RM234
SILVERSTONE ST500 PSU - RM229
NZXT S430 - RM399

TOTAL - RM3844 (Activelansing JB)

Your opinion on how to cut cost for this build. Can it run max setting on 32" TV 1080p screen? Should I downgrade the casing & just get it later. I might ditch SSD & HDD. Take my Sandisk SSD Plus 240gb from my laptop.
*
Your choice of gpu is sufficient to run max setting on 1080p screen for mostly today title.
Casing depends ba, better casing commonly result better airflow or easier hide cable etc, but there r ppl would grab cheaper casing for more funds to other parts.
SSD just up to u, its not much benefit for gaming with 500mb/s either 300mb/s read speed in real world gaming purpose.
HDD, haha. just for your information, western digital got a higher failure rate =w=

[Budget] = rm2k - 2.5k

[Purpose] = photo & video editing, dota 2 & rust

[Hardwares that will be re-use] = None

[Monitor resolution] = prefer around 21inch

[Games & softwares that use frequently] = photoshop, ai, csgo, dota2,rust

[Personal preferences] = please give me 1 intel build & 1 amd build

BTW, if the budget is really tight to include monitor, then just give me a rig spec within the budget.

I like clean looking casing...most cheap one to striking...for me at least. Anymore pro & cons if get cheap cassing? Actually prefer case that have no window & very minimal design.

SSD mostly will be for Windows. I hate slow boot time's...kinda annoying to me. TotalWar Warhammer also load very slow on HDD. I'll think will ditched HDD since have 500GB & 1T portable HDD.

Commonly the more expensive u spend for casing, the better air flow performance u got, may more feature as rgb lah fan controller lah, easier for cable management, more fan can mount, igger size fan can mount etc.
Just go get a review for a casing, there r review for many casing include the one may cheap but high value.

Cooler master cheap casing commonly with a lot outfir design XD, depends on brand =w= corsair, antec, nzxt, phanteks, fractal design commonlky know with their simple stylish design.

SSD section, i means u can reuse ur ssd from ur lappy if u want to XD

If you go AMD, you may have to go with AMD GPU as well. For some reason, Nvidia cards runs slower on AMD Ryzen.

Hi guys;

1) i am planning to reuse my old logitech z-5500 5.1 speaker, and also want to buy headphone or headset, maybe the kingston hyperx cloud 2/stinger (for movie, music & gaming). Is it better to get GIGABYTE AX370-GAMING 5, (which offers dual ALC1220 codecs & amp for both back & front audio ports), or GIGABYTE AB350-GAMING 3 (which only has single codecs & amplifier for the rear audio port)? I do like to save some money if possible.

2) most high-end motherboard/casing has USB 3.1 gen2 type-c port, but i don't see many peripherals that take advantage of its such portable hard disk & such. Is it worth the money to have motherboard or casing with these feature?

1) Havent try mobo side by side, wont know result. Dual codec vs one single, is nothing, the sound output not only by chipset and amps, also need a better pcb route design and capacitor as well.

But if same company, there's common the more expensive give out more performance =w=

2) all depends ppl, if u need to have it, that r sure its worth the money, in opposite, sure not worth the money XD

FYI,if a mobo's electric component over a grade, its will perform better in many field, and longer lifespan in theory.
