QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Sep 9 2018, 01:43 PM) What about these: Thank you, a quite decent one! I actually was thinking of either Ryzen 1600x or i5 6600k, what do you think of this? I read a lot that 1600x beats 6600k? Assuming i'm taking Ryzen, do you think i need good PSU, and what about motherboard?CPU: INTEL CORE I3 8100 RM 454.00 MOBO: ASUS PRIME B360M-K RM 313.00 RAM: G.SKILL AEGIS SERIES 8GB DDR4 2666MHZ RM 349.00 GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1050 TI OC 4GB GDDR5 RM 745.00 SSD: WD 120GB GREEN PC 2.5' RM 139.00 HDD: SEAGATE 3.5' BARRACUDA 1TB RM 185.00 PSU: CORSAIR 450W VS SERIES RM 159.00 CASE: TECWARE NEXUS M RM 139.00 MONITOR: VIEWSONIC 24' VA2419-SH FULL HD IPS RM 462.00 TOTAL: RM2,945 (E Tech PC prices) I read that i3 8100 has same cores with i5, do you mind share why you choose i3? |

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Sep 9 2018, 02:51 PM) Ryzen is very value for the money for its extra cores/threads. A better PSU is always better for any build unless for office use so you its up to you if you can fork out more money for a better PSU. If you don't plan to OC, A320M mobo will suffice. If you plan to OC a lil, you'll have to go for B350 mobos which I don't think 3K budget is enough. Thank you so much Kristal.S! Now i get the idea already i3 8100 has same cores with previous i5, not the current i5. Current i5 has 6 cores. See below for Ryzen parts: RYZEN 5 1600X (6C/12T) RM699 ASROCK A320M- HDV RM189 / ASUS PRIME B350M-A RM349 |

Hi, can someone please help me? I recently bought a new pc from lowyat and assembled it myself. And I've been getting a low fps on all the games that I tested compared to the benchmark on youtube of the same specs as mine (even with the lower specs). What is wrong with my pc?
Specs: I3 8100 ASUS B360M 8GB DDR4 2666MHZ GTX 1060 6GB 1TB HDD 550W PSU |

QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Sep 9 2018, 07:49 PM) Like below 60 fps. Basically it's significantly lower than what it should be. Witcher 3 (30-60fps), The Crew is literally unplayable in city (<20fps), COD WW2 (30fps). And I also tried using the lowest setting and it doesn't make any difference. Even a G4560 with GTX 1050 ti benchmark is better than this. |

What brand and model is your power supply? |

QUOTE(iztghazali @ Sep 9 2018, 09:20 PM) Cool. Not having dual channel may some performance hit depending on gamehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXKqNQnaFx4 WD Blue have 5400rpm model which is shit. Please check the model https://www.wdc.com/products/internal-stora...e.html#WD10EZRZ Also, background apps and malware could also give you performance issues. |
