Hmmm, very demanding for very low budget. Have to cut a lot of things and a lower quality power supply.

Core i5-8400 - 749
Gigabyte B360M-D2V - 319
Crucial or Kingston 8GB DDR4-2400 X1 - 290
Gigabyte GTX 1070 Ti 8GB DDR5 Windforce - 1999
WD Blue (look for 7200rpm only) or Seagate 1TB - 1679
Super Flower Leadex Silver Eco 600W - 289
Tecware Nexus dual case - 199

RM4024 total (C-Zone prices)

Go Garage Sales for used parts.

Sorry to butt in. I know moderators here like Corsair TX650M. I went to check out Viewnet recently and noticed price for that particular unit has gone up. Probably has to do with the change in distributorship. Just consider this as a special public announcement smile.gif

Just putting my thoughts here on how to reduce GPU cost. Maybe moderators here can consider recommending Galax RTX 2060 OC for budget build. Selling at RM 1,599 at many shops. I believe this is the cheapest RTX 2060 in the market right now. Definitely not as good as Asus Strix RTX 2060 but hey it is still an RTX 2060. Will slaughter any game at 1080p smile.gif

Hi. Whats the best combo i can get for 1.2k for cpu mobo ram and ssd?

For light gaming like dota2 and web browsing.
*
CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G - RM 629 (Viewnet price)
MOBO: Gigabyte B450M D3H - RM 329 (Viewnet price)
RAM: Klevv Bolt X 8GB 3200MHz - RM 259 (Try finding this at Shopee)
TOTAL = RM 1,217

P/S: If you don't know what Viewnet is. It's a computer shop located on level 3 inside Lowyat. Go pay a visit there. They sell a lof of stuff smile.gif

Thanks for the suggestion

Assuming that i can get ryzen 5 2600 for rm650, is it worth to pay slightly more compared to the 2400g?
*
Ryzen 5 2400G is a 4 cores, 8 threads CPU with a capable integrated graphics inside (Can play Dota 2 no problem)

Ryzen 5 2600 however is a 6 cores, 12 threads CPU without any integrated graphics. You will need to buy a separate graphics card to output display which means going above your 1.2K budget

TLDR: I suggest sticking with Ryzen 5 2400G since you only play Dota 2 (I'm assuming you play at 1080p here) smile.gif

Sorry i have just realized that i forgot to mention that I have a r7 360 and the other parts to be reused.

In this case, getting the 2600 is definitely the right choice right?
*
Yeah get that Ryzen 5 2600 instead smile.gif
