Barely enough. Budget too low. Look for Second hand Core i5-3470 or 3570. That will cost you around RM350. GTX 1050 Ti is around RM700.

So, I just need to replace my processor (to i5-3470/2570), RAM (upgrade to 4GB 2 sticks) and GPU (GTX 1050 Ti) right?
Well, I'm leaning more towards second hand items. I hope can scavenge good parts in Mudah/Lelong biggrin.gif

Dont bother with i7-7700. It is overpriced for the performance it gives. Go for i7-8700 or Ryzen 7 1700 setup. No idea about GPU encryption though. I suggest getting a good CPU first.

Hi I'm planning to get a AMD ryzen 7 1700 3.0Hz 8 Core Processor. What do you think about this CPU? I heard that ryzen performance over the long term deteriorates alot. Is this true?

No issue. Kindly take note 8700K requires good third party heatsink. It doesnt come with heatsink. At least Coolermaster Hyper 212 LED is recommended.

bro this spec already above the roof, i'm doing video editing for some of my videos not for company stuff.

i5-8400 does the job well enough, unless you're rich or doing really heavy 4k videos then go for 8700k.

Kalau pakai Nvidia kena pakai monitor G-Sync, and most G-Sync monitors dalam 2k macam tu (except second hand)
Kalau AMD pakai FreeSync monitors, murah berganda dari G-Sync monitors (probably boleh dapat around 1.5k for new item)

good GPU helps when viewing your work timeline, but it doesn't affect much on the render time.
at most you only need a gtx 1050ti for rendering. High end would be quadro but you cannot use that for gaming.

Hi guys, below is my setup since Dec 2014 and unfortunately the Asrock mobo decided to give up right after the warranty expired on Dec 2017.. I'm newbie in pc hardware so i need a suggestion whether to replace the mobo or an upgrade for future proof. Budget RM500~RM1000+ depend if it is worth the upgrade or just replace mobo. If it is an upgrade, I think i will recover around RM600 (processor & 2x ram)? and no idea what to do with the dead mobo hmm.gif

Intel i5 4460
Asrock B85 Fatality Killer (MoBo dead as of 17/1/18)
Avexir 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz Red
Leadtek GTX970 Hurricane 4GB DDR5
Plextor M6S 128GB SSD
WD 3.5" Caviar Blue 1TB
Seasonic S12 620 PSU
