Hi guys, below is my setup since Dec 2014 and unfortunately the Asrock mobo decided to give up right after the warranty expired on Dec 2017.. I'm newbie in pc hardware so i need a suggestion whether to replace the mobo or an upgrade for future proof. Budget RM500~RM1000+ depend if it is worth the upgrade or just replace mobo. If it is an upgrade, I think i will recover around RM600 (processor & 2x ram)? and no idea what to do with the dead mobo hmm.gif

Intel i5 4460
Asrock B85 Fatality Killer (MoBo dead as of 17/1/18)
Avexir 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz Red
Leadtek GTX970 Hurricane 4GB DDR5
Plextor M6S 128GB SSD
WD 3.5" Caviar Blue 1TB
Seasonic S12 620 PSU

Go for H97 platform boards. Try this? Asus Gamer Pro H97

Alternatively, if you don't want to spend more on Mobo and willing to sitck with b85 try this
MSI B85 gaming 43

Happy gaming.

Thanks for those suggestion but after looking around online and i'm still unsure which one to get.. doh.gif
Since it is not an upgrade so i decided to go for the "OK" and most durable one to last for another few years (even the asrock failed on me)
And i'm not really into gaming nowadays so might as well save the money from gaming mobo?
Lowyat garage sales or taobao do have second hand stuff but i'm worry about its condition.

Didn't plan to overclock but this is the cheapest (new condition) 97 board I can find:

So what do you guy think?
