white with led is fine.

Another thing, different brand has different clock speed ranging from 2520-2640. Does it make significant difference between 2520 and 2640?
*
1-4% at best btwn OC & nonOC models.

When you paying so much for a 4090 ur might wanna consider those quality of life stuff like cooler shroud appearance, lighting effects, accessories, & also other technical aspects as VRMs (more expensive models tends to have more/better VRM), cooling capacity (ie Strix has the best perf cooler), or PCB durability (Giga tends to be cheaper but now suffers board cracking),

Also consider size limitations as buying flagship humungous cards will have chance of incompatibilities with certain case choices.

Avoid 8GB cards. Go for at least 12GB like RTX 3060. Yes, even 1080p got games eating more than 8GB these days.
*
12GB is overkill for 3060 nonTI as it doesnt have the GPU horsepower to make use. Yes it will have better 1% lows but if overall average sucks then that 12GB is useless. A better GPU is 6700XT/6750XT where its GPU core has fast enough average FPS to benefit from better 1% lows via its 12GB VRAM.

Guys can help to screen through before i order ?

CPU AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D 4.2GHZ 96MB CHACHE PROCESSOR AM5 rm2180

GPU GIGABYTE WINDFORCE GEFORCE RTX4070 OC 12GB GDDR6X (GV-N4070WF3OC-12GD) 3YR rm2880

CORSAIR CP-9020262-UK RM750E 750W 80PLUS GOLD FULL MODULAR POWER SUPPLY ATX3.0 rm510

DEEPCOOL AK620 DIGITAL BLACK AIR COOLER CPU rm285

GIGABYTE B650M AORUS ELITE AX WIFI DDR5 AM5 GAMING MAINBOARD rm820

SSD INT KINGSTON KC3000 1TB PCIE 4.0 NVME M.2 (SKC3000S/1024G) 5Y rm320

FRACTAL DESIGN NORTH BLACK PC CASE rm620

G SKILL TRIDENT Z5 NEO RGB 6000mhz CL30 (2X16Gb) rm600

Total RM8215

It this setup okay?

I might change the air cooler to thermalright phantom spirit 120 to save about 100bucks.. still thinking bcz ak620 digital seems a bit more aesthetically pleasing.
*
PS120 even better as its perf nearly matches NHD15. Or if you got budget get Assassin 3 or FS140 which absolutely destroys all coolers

Change out Giga GPU due to board cracking issue.

Giga mobo bios has backdoor (its got new bios but who knows what other doors hidden)

Ya i may change to PS120. But the ak620 has digital which shows temp, quite cool leh.. hahaha

@@ didnt know abt the gigabyte pcb cracking issue until now, if so, any similar price range Rtx4070 AIB alternative suggestion?

That gigabyte b650M aorus elite mobo is probably the best bang for bucks already. ASUS mobo i not dare to use, msi board has slow boot and history of leaking public signing key too, asrock is average. I gonna just believe that the new bios fixed the issue. XD
*
I look at this;
user posted image

And its just a dinky LCD temp display on a huge glossy surface, whatmore depending on how tinty ur sideglass is and lighting inside, it might not even be seen. So is it worth it?

B Tier AIB like Zotac, Palit, Gainward, PNY, might not be as popular or good looking but they tend to be much cheaper yet perform equally as well. Might even give a look at C tier (mainly China) AIB like Colorful, Manli, Maxsun tho these comes with lesser (or none) RGB bling.

exactly my point. the only good choices left for 2.9ish price are just gigabyte windforce and colorful both are tier 3, maybe asus dual can fit in too. B tier AIB at the same price point doesnt actually offer better value if not worse.
the main point is the price... priceeeee
*
LOL if just a few '00 RM makes a difference, just go down to PA120 will save RM 100, go for Mortar Wifi will save RM 200, a lower brand like Montech or Antec case will save RM 100-200. Adds up and you defo can afford a better B tier AIB card than Gigashit.

Does anyone know if XPG Core Reactor PSU still have local warranty? I heard need to send back to Canada and 3 years ago was quite popular along with NZXT C series, but now no much stock left.

There is Corsair RMe series but I found that it is not Jap capacitors, only 7 yrs warranty, worse fan than XPG/RMx series and is made by CWT, still it is rated tier A so I am not sure if it is reliable. But the good thing is that it is ATX 3.0, if need to use the new cable for RTX 4000 series.

Looking to buy a 750W PSU, prefer Jap caps, fully modular, and have local warranty, if got any recommendations.
*
Adata been known to swap parts for their RAM & SSD products so they might even do that to their better PSU lines. If want better assurance, get Corsair, NZXT or EVGA (tho risk of company going bust) or direct from PSU makers ie Seasonic or FSP

Should I be worry if 1/3 of my AiO Cooler Fan on/off itself  sweat.gif

Not sure if suitable here since can't find such thread  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Is ur AIO fans daisy chained or each to a separate fan header?

Does ur AIO fan have 0db function? If yes it could likely the mobo missread ur AIO fans as case fans and once below PWM threshold the fan goes to stop mode. I read that ideally AIO fans should be a constant 100% PWM so it shouldnt be offing itself.

If its not functioning normal as above its possibly about to die.

it's daisy chain all 3... only 1 to header ✌🏼
*
Try switching the chain connection, ie Fan 2 & Fan 3 swap the PWM connect. See if the symptom persist on the swapped fan (insufficient power to the fans) or it remain with the earlier on/off fan (fan is about to die).

Using the displayport cable when bought my monitor on year 2021 + 3 hdmi cables (1 came along with nintendo switch, another came from TV and another hdmi 2.0 cable bought from ugreen), also same

Also had tried different PSU cable, old PSU cable from old rig and new PSU cable when bought new rig
Forgot to mention, this issue also exists on my old rig

At first though PSU are old enough, somehow new rig also having same issue doh.gif
*
Let me get this straight;
Connect to GPU HDMI, monitor will off.
Connect to GPU DP, monitor will off.
Connect to mobo onboard, monitor will off.
Connect with different HDMI cables, monitor will off.
Connect to old PC, monitor will off.

I think there is a common thing here...

Not off, is screen will go black for few seconds then will screen reappear again.

And no issue when playing with Nintendo Switch, using same hdmi cable
*
Either ways it looks to me like ur monitor is the problem here. Switch not having issues could just be a fluke

Planning to build a mATX system with budget RM10-15K (lower better)
Will be using Intel 13700K with RTX 4080.

Kindly recommend the rest of components.

MOBO (Z790 mATX with good VRM), RAM, PSU, COOLER, CASE & etc.

Thank you.
*
For RM 15k I think the sifus here can cook up a rig much better than that. Would you be okay to uprate to a 13900K?

Since for video & image editing, might better to split storage into two; a 1TB Renegade boot drive and a 1/2TB SSD as scratch disk for high usage during editing. Putting all that work on 1 single drive will fast wear out.

For gaming & general use purpose its usable, somemore its a VA panel

But Rtings seems to think colour accuracy OOB isnt too bad, and after calibration it becomes incredible (their words)
