Two of my Samsung 2333SW died within warranty period. Got it back. Screen turned yellow after warranty ends. Samsung reliability is questionable.

Dell U2414H also died after 5 years warranty.

thinking of replacing my 10yo desktop (i5, 970, 16gb ram) with a mini ITX casing. Currently playing Isonzo, Civ5, CS2 and Flight Simulator

have eyes on the Fractal Design Terra Mini-ITX , wondering what specs I can squeeze in ? Budget RM10k including the case (Lazada is showing around RM900 for the case). Will be reusing everything else (monitor, kb, mouse, speakers).

Depending on which edition, FS is prolly the most demanding in your list.

Whats your monitor/screen size? Your played resolution (HD or 4K)? Preferred game settings (high or low, with/without RT)? Target FPS?

RM 10k is wonderful but depends on how you play, it can be a waste of money if spec too high which you wont feel. And too high specs can also lead to cooling difficulties in a SFF box.

current monitor is Dell 2413, 1920 x 1080. Game setting high, never tried RT so probably don't need it. FPS above 30.

I guess the only thing I play that could max things out is Flight Simulator (2020)

thanks guys, I'm actually coming from a BitFenix Prodigy, which was the case I got when I first built it 10 years or so ago. Problem with cheap case I found that they don't last, the Prodigy leg broke about 5 years in when I pressed the power button. Been using a cheapo generic case since then.

Sadly, very few ITX motherboards. Fractal Terra also extremely limits CPU cooling.

If your not going to upgrade that monitor anytime soon (triple screens / 4K curved) then either Myway or Tristanx reco is doable.
