Supposedly SSD prices in the Western world havent started going up yet and this is confirmed by commenters in the same article but in Msia things will go up even with just hearsay & rumours. So there is no valid reason why local SSD prices are jacking up like hell. This is the hidden inflation that the Govt is failing to control.

Key main difference is between smaller 750W but Atier PSU(Tristanx) vs bigger 850W Btier PSU(Myway). Imho when its this close, going bigger wattage will have more headroom as the PSU ages.

Hey guys, I’m just wondering in terms of the recommendation, wouldn’t the 14600k be a better and more cost saving option compared to 13700f for gaming? Since the performance will more or less be similar and less RM300? And to get kingston 3600 since price more or less same. Thanks

CPU: Not really. 13700 max boost to 5.2GHZ, 14600K max boost to 5.3GHZ. But i7 has 8Pcores while i5 still has 6Pcores and AAA games these day reco spec for 8Pcores to run optimally. 14th Gen has IAO but how useful it is remains to be seen. For above there is no real value to get Ksku since its paired with Bseries mobo which cannot OC. The only benefit this pairing is you can up VCCSA to use higher speed RAMS (3600 & above) at XMP Gear1. This leads to the next point...

RAM: nonK can normally do XMP automatically up to 3200 without much fuss but for 3600 will need manual tweaking and silicon lottery cuz nonK cannot up the VCCSA so XMP Auto at 3600G1 will likely fail/system or programs instability. Depending on that 3600 RAM stick, if it has lower 3200 XMP profile then you can set that if 3600G1 fails. Otherwise you will have to manually tweak the RAM speed & timings (like dropping from 3600 to 3466). If this is uncomfortable for you then just get 3200 and no need headache.

Bare in mind RTX 4070 Super is coming. I would advise waiting for the availability before buying. It may offer better price / performance.
