Possibly yes... by 3 sen. But I prefer to wait for AIP figures to come out tomorrow to be more sure about this.

Update Monday 19/2

Looks like it will indeed go down again 5-7 sen for RON95/97 and 2-3 sen for Diesel.

That's a joke everywhere now. However the real fact is the refined peyrol price as per australian AIP -MOPS out on Monday showed one of the steepest fall within a week.

The explanation is written at 1st post, but layman terms is:

You don't eat Paddy, you eat cooked Rice. Same for your car, it doesn't take crude oil, it takes refined fuel - priced using MOPS for our region.
Paddy = Crude Oil Price
Cooked Rice = MOPS Price

Any difference? If you have X number of points it's just worth a constant amount of ringgit right? So price of petrol shouldn't matter, you'd still got X/400 (or whatever the conversion rate is) ringgit worth of petrol.

Perhaps got slight difference in that pumping with cash now will earn less points than if you pump with cash at higher price, but that's also offset by the 3x points now which may not last to future?

Presuming that RM1 = 1 point.

If you collect the points when petrol prices are high, you get more points. Say for example, 1000 point gives your RM10 worth of petrol. If petrol prices are lower now, you get more petrol per RM.

That's what i want to convey.
