biggrin.gif Yup, two different thing. CVT Jerk due to the design of the CVT is wet clutch, I believe new persona less jerk in low end than saga flx  cry.gif

Welcome and glad to see this thread active...again. good job zero5177 take initiative.

my first new car, love it very much. almost wait for 3 months baru get the car on last year end

Graphite Grey | AT | Premium

now still looking for the floor mat/car carpet, dash cam, seat cover?, and ah...what does it call? > cargo mat?/cargo organizer?
*
Added and thanks for the support, any suggestions are welcome thumbsup.gif

Floor Mat you can have a custom made one from sh@rty5 which cover most of the floor and it has vecro tape for the front so it don't move around.

Dash Cam I just get a Xiaoyi Dashcam Black. Good FOV to cover all the windscreen and good quality too.

As for Boot tray I got it online for around RM80, worth to have one as it has a small partition to keep your tools there and prevent it coasting along the big boot thumbup.gif

Seat cover I just got 1 set just on the seat itself(not seat wrap) for front and rear seat from MR DIY, about RM50
What I don't like is the seat cover tends to move around when you in and out of the car even it says it has applied some anti-slip material

i dont have to leave the car... its not a major problem....just annoying sound coming from the exhaust when it rattles... how long? that depends.. new case will take some time for approval
*
Its good to know it wasn't that serious... did they say what are the causes of this issue? Or just plainly defective parts...

The promotion 30% off is for the boot tray only... but priced 190 for a decent car matt is still pretty worth it.
I got my coil mat custom also need around 160, yet not the thickest coil mat yet

Sad to see you people got so many free gifts.

Must complain to Human Rights Agency. It is my Rights to also get those free rats and cicaks!

If wife complain about rattles, can tell her about those free rats - that will surely make her shut-up.

If gf complain about cicaks sound, tell her it's mating call - IF you want to be charged for verbal sexual harassment!

What I got free are those loud tyres sounds. Absolutely Free or it's included in the selling price?
*
The loud tyres noise is the tire itself according to those who changed to a new set of tire... forgot what brand

U rugi lah didn't get those freebies... but its ok... not everyone love freebies, they'll doubt its reliability if given freebies brows.gif

I never try before so couldn't comment much.

But based on what I read here it is comparable to Honda city especially using the same type of tire, minus those rattling noise (if you unlucky)

Plan to get the standard MT variant. My concerns are:

1. Only 2 speakers are fitted as stock. Will adding additional speakers (6x9) void the vehicle warranty?
2. Anyone experiencing crackling noise from BT audio streaming using iPhone 6S? I have this problem with my 15 y.o Waja (fitted with Exora's HU). Using AUX is just fine.
3. How's the audio quality of the stock single DIN HU?

Cheers all wink.gif
*
1. According to SC, anything require modifying the wires will void the warranty.
2. No iphone, so can't comment...
3. To me the stock single din + speakers is miles better than Myvi original setup with 4 speakers. I'm quite satisfied with the sound quality even lack of 2 rear speakers, still much better than the Myvi one... The myvi I'm referring is 1st gen Myvi.

most probably my manual driving skills is bad.  sad.gif  i've just drive for a month.

i pump full tank when it starts blinking, usually around 75-80. by the time i pump petrol, it is average 420km.
*
Have your car reach 1k mileage yet? I feel my FC improving in each fuel up... currently clocked at 7k, not sure is because I'm more adapt to the MT or engine running in..

Like our Boss said, drive gently with eco-light to assist you. The best I had is 16.4 (full highway) and worst is 12.8 (speed 140-150 highway with some city mix with 4 person onboard)

The car is quite good at masking the acceleration especially the almost non-existence engine sound below 2k RPM makes you feel the car is not accelerating, while in fact it was accelerating normally, the same acceleration pace can be felt obviously in Myvi.

QUOTE(drsmallkid @ Mar 2 2017, 11:41 PM)
I mean totaled fuel topped up is 42.39L, in multiple refueling la rclxs0.gif  for 450KM Odometer.
*
Try calculate in each fuel up, this way you will get more accurate reading... multiple fuel up often lead to less accurate reading which I wasn't sure why...

Just bought the new persona 1.6 Standard... currently in 450+KM,
anyone having this issues?
1)Car jerking at low gear, speed around 0-20km/hr.
2)Delayed car movement, rpm rev up but car doesn't move, sometimes move at 1000rpm (Breaking around 750rpm... unbreak goes to 1000rpm).. sometimes at 1500rpm(when light gas pedal)... sometimes the whole car doesn't even moved when the engine is screaming at 2000rpm(hard gas pedal).... same goes to reverse gear....

My only logical explanation,
1)The lost of power could be due to electrical stability/current/voltage issues when engine rev up took power and gear losing engagement.
(Anyone tried with grounding cables/voltage stabilizer?...does it void car warranty?)

2)The ECU unit is badly tuned where most cars would had (Gas Pedal>Gear engagement>Engine Rev).... whereas the persona might have (Gas pedal>Engine Rev>Gear engagement).... (Anyone tried ECU tuning before? How much would it cost? Will it void car warranty?)
*
For the CVT response you may try this CVT Adaption, some owner find this helpful.

Last refueled full tank was RM75/32.6L and ran total of 280KM on the meter,
one bar left on the fuel meter,
just refused to full tank again this morning at the same RM75/32.6L with the same BHP station to eliminate any inconsistancy.

BTW, my old 16year old wira, tried on all different fuel brands, and found out BHP have greater power and mileage than others,
anyone tested it out on New Persona?
*
Not sure thou... my fuel up since I got the car till now only once filled Petronas, the rest is using BHP because my credit card got 2% extra discounts by filling up BHP which also nearby my house
