i taught the original got marked "skystreamX" on it. once i have the unit on my hand than easy to compare. lol

Its a generic airmouse remote.
The diff with mine is the back-lit. Which on average rm30.

Go to shopee or lazd.

Its MX3 airmouse.

The airmouse is nice and the keyboard at the back has a good clicky feeling.

I coupled it up with Rii i8 keyboard.

Both gave me the best experience (cheap-style) in controlling android box.

struggling to decide between MINIX NEO U9-H or Himedia Q10Pro. Will be using on wifi , so the need strong wifi detectors. Appreciate advice from sifus here.....

is anyone tried TX box with sim slot such as M8 working? I've unlimited internet broadband but limited tethering.

Do you know what's the difference capability of both boxes? Does those difference affect your daily use?

Firstly what type of batteries are you using.. All AAA batteries aren't made equal. I use Eneloop rechargeable and they've been great.. Lasts 6 months easy, with almost daily usage..at a time. Neo A2 Lite here.

I'd recommend either Minix, HiMedia or the Shield.. These guys are built to last.. My last 3 boxes over the years were from Minix and can personally vouch for their products. I know of at least 2 HiMedia Q10 Pro users, theirs lasting at least 2 years running now.


That's a shit box, shit remote..shit service.. claiming Nirvana on earth.. End up using Kodi screenshot as selling point.. Kek.. If you aren't trolling, then sorry to say, you burnt your money. At such amounts, you should have gone for the Nvidia Shield instead.. Easy decision.

Go with the Neo U9-H... That antenna isn't just for display purposes. Unless of course you'd want that HD enclosure in the Q10 Pro and or prefer the Imprex engine.. Neither of which interest me.. Your call .. really.

Hope yours is the latest box... S912, 3gb/32gb, Widevine L1, HDCP 2.X

So what it does is that it uses SPMC and programmed to scrape the net for the best source of content you wanna watch and charge you a super premium? Hopefully, the content are in 1080 if not 4k and that its one click play etc etc

Do give us a review, better still, extract the full SPMC setup and share with us once you have it so as some of us can test...

Cancel your order and reclaim your money if you can.. I believe it's a pre-order? Plenty really good boxes for or under RM800.

LoL....i can give it to my brother if i not satisfied with it later on. btw, what would you recommend than? prefer octa core, faster GPU, android 7 or 8 OS, 4Gb RAM, 64Gb ROM, 4K/UHD? not nvidia shield la since my son got it already.

Those 2 make it a hassle to recommend and to be frank, you'll have a hard time getting any such box from a reputable manufacturer.. Just read a couple of my last posts and you should see the devices I recommend the most. Yes, they are the same boring repetitive brands, BUT I value stability and performance above all else. These are devices to play media & game a bit, a good solid box running even Lollipop can outperform a higher specced & Android OS device but with poor firmware/ HW+SW combo.. any day, anytime.

Evidence? See the Nvidia Shield.. Been a couple years and its still the box to beat or benchmark-ed against.

as mentioned earlier, i would like to try other brand too. just read about X99 last night too. will put in on my list to consider soon i feel what you all said about skystream three plus is rubbish, because everybody have different it own preferences.
