QUOTE(Lord_froz @ Mar 14 2017, 04:38 PM) you unroot using supersu, to remove some binary that block by aotg channel. But you still need to use aotg (mode for rooted) and it work nicely with all the channel can be watch. Tried it with my device and few other user confirm it. But not all rooted device can use this full unroot i thing.. got some error relating to no binary install or something like that.. I'm still thinking if it worth the risk for me to unroot my box. I really itchy hands to try out. Anyway, I can only do it when I go back Malaysia as I cannot use AOTG in overseas since it only accepts Malaysia IP address.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 21 2017, 02:23 AM) ya, better if 100mbps. at kodi quasar, it maxed at 5.8MBps, which is about 20 gb per hr. that's good for any stuff available there. can get 50, 100 gb files easily now. will probably be buying another 2 or 3 TB hdd soon. I want to upgrade to 50M earlier and let it to have free upgrade to 100M. However, thinking that I will be using it alone and always travelling, discarded the idea. For e.g., I am paying for nothing this month, never even use one day for this month. Since I'm at hotel now sharing connection with others, didn't want to hog up others' connection with Quasar.

QUOTE(Suarez23 @ Mar 21 2017, 05:08 PM) Guys can recommend an android box that can watch sports channel like what astro is offering. Janji can watch astro sports. Any Android box is capable so long you have the correct apps and add-on.

QUOTE(Suarez23 @ Mar 21 2017, 05:21 PM) Well, it is just a simple requirement. The thing is which APK or Kodi add-on to do the work.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Mar 22 2017, 01:18 PM) I believe it requires a subscription. Hyyptv package subscribers get 2 free Everywhere accounts.. Additional costs apply for others or more accounts. I don't think I have seen my HyppTV password anywhere, so no choice but to request from TM?

QUOTE(voncrane @ Mar 22 2017, 01:24 PM) Ya... Have to call TM to get the login info. Input in app and it'll allow you to watch subscribed channels.. That's if the app works properly on your device.. Very picky. Noted. I will try and feedback for my own box. At least it should work with Huawei HyppTV white box. Will call TM when I go back Malaysia.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 22 2017, 01:31 PM) u hv hyppbox meant for hypptv. but u use it for hypp e'where? Simple. The box is not mine actually, my friend gave it to me. Mine is the older version. So, the bound HyppTV account is not mine, I used for WiFi most of the time. And the box is at my sister's house now which has no UniFi.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Mar 22 2017, 02:25 PM) Haha.. Same here.. Can only view local TV channels.. Others just report that error... Works fine on my tablet too. I'm not that bothered as I've got the stock STB and the Hypptv app there works. For users like Fruitie, may be bothered... or maybe not as she's got "cloud" connections.. True. I'm not bothered. All this while I didn't know HyppTV Everywhere can be tied to HyppTV account like Astro and AOTG. Now I know and will try, if cannot then stick to my iPad.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 22 2017, 03:10 PM) My view is this... Astro and Hypptv - if using the orig decoders, the video is 1080i 50hz, good. using apps, they are in SD. OK on tablets. but i refuse to watch them on my TV. Correct but just wanna try for fun. Phone screen is too small, anyway the only time I used this app was during Olympics.

AwanTV expired three days ago and subscribed to another provider to try out. AwanTV was good but sometimes is not so stable and buffers quite a lot, it could be the slow speed I have here in India. I only used one day in Malaysia before I came to India. This new provider (H**TV88) is not bad, doesn't buffer at all but sometimes channels will be down and up again later. No complaint so far. My above comments are for my personal usage, it may not be the same for you. I encourage you to subscribe to the real providers for better experience.

QUOTE(OCMAX @ Mar 29 2017, 05:07 PM) I subscribe to W.S for a year. during the test it works well. but after a while buffer like hell. 5min watch than it will start to buffer. I watched 4K IPTV stream also doesn't have these problem. So Huat is good? In my opinion, yes.

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Mar 30 2017, 12:43 PM) Im curious why u guys go for subscriptions when Kodi can get free? Special sports channels i know must need subscriptions, other than that? For myself, i only watch english movies and dramas. That explains all. I seldom watch English movies and dramas. I prefer Chinese channels. Also, I watch badminton and seldom football, Kodi seldom has add-on for badminton matches.

Anyway, regarding H***88, there are missing channels started yesterday. Contacted the seller and said got blocked by provider. This kind of incident seldom will happen but I was a bit unlucky to kena on third day of usage. I will monitor further and I was told they will be back in less than a week. If it is just 2-3 days I'm OK, else I will go back to Awan.
