oh haha ok2 sori sis. btw i think my box is bricked. coz i already tried using with similiar remote but still the same, red color. need to buy new box kot. thanks for your help !  biggrin.gif

Hmm. Just sharing an experience here... My box which I shared the photo earlier, also has blue light and red light thingy.. If the adapter is not 5V, it won't be lit up and forever showing red light. I tried using a lower voltage and it will not work. So I bought a spare 5V adapter and tried on it, it works. I left that in my hometown so that I don't need the adapter everywhere I go.

So, yours may be the adapter issue... Not necessarily it's bricked.

Mine is also the same, there is no way for me to login my UniFi HyppTV ID. So, it will definitely only show normal basic package.

the login page when u open the hypptv everywhere app....

username: xxxxxxxxx@iptv
pwd: iptv password
should work without problem...

Got it. biggrin.gif I will try when I go back Malaysia. If I'm not mistaken, HyppTV Everywhere and AOTG work only with Malaysia IP address.
Gotta search for my password. laugh.gif Else, I will call TM. biggrin.gif

i m not a big sports fan but i get serious when i wanna watch. laugh.gif

well you can try using supersu and use full unroot.
*
I think more appropriate to reply here since it is not related to Huawei HyppTV box.

May I know what did you mean by above? I have SuperSU installed in this box, so how can I look for Full unroot?

I used Xposed Framework before for RootCloak but didn't work..

look for this option.. it will fully unroot your device.. and aotg fully work after that for me.

[attachmentid=8588139]

some people said they use this rootcloak method and work. never tried it before as i think there is no point keeping my box rooted as i just use it for kodi / iptv..
*
I tried RootCloak and yes, wasn't working for me.

Thanks for the heads-up! I will check out mine for this option too. Yes, mine also for Kodi and IPTV, I don't even require it to be rooted. laugh.gif

I hope my box will still work. laugh.gif

I'm thinking why did those rebranded boxes like to pre-root those boxes? Any idea? unsure.gif

IMO.. Having a pre-rooted unpopular device that can be unrooted easily is better than having an unrooted unpopular device that can't be rooted easily.. for those who want it. Probably cuz not all manufacturers can offer after-sales service/tweaks/forum perks as the more popular devices.
*
So, in another word, it will be safe for me to unroot my box? I mean, so long it will not lose any special functionality due to rooting. I haven't seen anything that is linked to rooting in my box or any apps which requires rooting to work. blink.gif

These are a few things.. their importance varies from individual to individual.
*Six Axis app: For wireless game controller support.. PS3, PS4, etc.
*Ads: Block ads in any app... Get rid of at least 95% of ads from apps.. Makes for a more pleasant experience.
*Titanium Backup: Real device backup (apps, their data, wifi networks, etc).. handy in case of a factory reset. You'll be up and running in minutes.. 1-click setup...automatic restore.
*Flash custom ROMs/Kernels, etc..
*Having system-wide access also allows control over bloatware/pre-installed malware... basically, you can completely delete or disable any app.. be careful, delete the wrong one(s) and end up royally screwed.

As for how safe it is to unroot your device. That lies entirely on your firmware... Coded properly and you should experience zero issues... Else, you might suffer a soft brick or even worse... a hard brick, making your device a paperweight/door-stopper..  tongue.gif
*
I used to root my phone mainly for AdAway and Titanium Backup. hmm.gif

Then, I will wait for more advice before unroot my box. laugh.gif
