I've both many devices with zero reviews from overseas sellers and only had to return just one. The one returned was kinda expected cuz it's one of those "As seen on TV" products with shoddy marketing. Only cost under RM20..got refunded. Yeah noticed both sizes are similarly priced.. I actually don't mind buying it and giving it a try, as long as I can offload it unto someone else with low needs later. If scam as in seller can't send or sends a funny item.. Meh, I know my ways dealing with Lazada CS.. Even better..

seems like support for minix boxes are pretty much non-existant..last update for its boxes was ages ago..and now their forum cant even be accessed.

if I had the chance to start over I'll just go and grab the Shield..but other than that minix is a pretty solid box.

Forum is down at the moment, unsure why..but their Facebook is up and running.. Minix focuses on releasing stable firmware and not frequent updates fixing a couple bugs and or introducing a new feature or 2. Due to their firmware stability, you hardly read about it breaking down or being buggy. For example, while most devices struggle back and forth to run certain apps like AOTG well. I believe it's been working on Minix devices for at least 2 years on.. Despite multiple updates the AOTG app has undergone.

You could always dabble with custom ROMs. But yeah, sure.. It's not too late to get the Shield. Just sell off your Minix and cough up the extra cash..

Hi just bought mecool m8s pro l but i have a problem here my currently iptv (QX iptv) provider program turn to be have an error viewing some channel my i know any way to solve or any one can recommend me other iptv.

Another question why some of the app seen like the remote control cannot function or lag for example when u press ok it will not response at all but other app no pronlem

I suggest you talk with your provider and get them to make their app better to support the device. As for recommendations. Sorry, rather not as it's off topic and unwelcome here. Check the garage sales section for sellers.

Just now find out other problem anyone face this, if play rmvb file it cannot play until finish will stop 2 min b4 the file finish. Any solution?

Try other video players.. RMVB is fairly old and support for it has dwindled over time. If other players also fail..Convert all your rmvb files to mp4. It's much more supported.

This box is my daily driver now replacing the old but still working himedia Q16

Some app are not optimize for Android os box hence you'll need to use mouse. This is common even for pure Android boxes as some app are meant for mobile phone
