Well if you know Ninty enough, you should know that they ALWAYS give you a WOW .
But every first products is CONSIDERED as market surveyor (Ask Marketing or packaging people).
which mean it may have a lots of problems and spaces for improvement.BUT if you interested, go for it.
Expansive for First Experience while later, cheaper for stability.
For example the NDS fat, everyone WOW for it at first too.
And the ugly beast soon evolve to the DSlite we know. A much SLIM and Better Version of DS.

By the ways,
3DS sure is WoW (with 3rd party game producer as backup).
Some insider shown that, based on the Specifications of 3DS.
the Price will be ABOVE 200 bucks!
(NDSi release price is 175 bucks... and The NA ninty guy said its production price of 3DS is HIGHER than NDSi.)
and IWATA said " Piracy will be SURE not a problem then... "
this supported by the increase of Game cartridge saiz (2GB) (current largest:512mb.. i think so..)
Plus the FREE* internet content of the 3DS.
Hence, if you a Piracy's Fan, Dont Ever Think about the 3DS first.

*My Recommendation:*
if you want to play alone and tends to piracy game and guitar heroes.....
NDSlite will be you first choice..

If you support Originality and a more multi function...
NDSi will be your choice
play M4A. Music... having fun with girl (DSi camera.. dont know why SHE love it...)

Statistically, (if you play JAP games too)
1 week will have about 4-6 games released (Dont forget the blood sucker... DSiware... alots of my $$ goes there)
Hence, even thought you it have only 1 year of lifetime DSl or DSi, there is alotz of game.
So far, based on review, only 1500 out of 5000(and ongoing) Game (US + jap) is prefer by gamers.

i only point out the possible drawback... i oso watch the e3 video for 3ds n yes it is wow! even those who try the demo there oso give the comment of wow... but in a long run,would there any problem or not,no1 know... that wat i trying to said... as u mention,when it just release there will b space for improvement n as u mention oso,quite sure there will b newer version of 3ds to b release mayb after a year with improvement... i din mean 3ds is not good/impressive... i not sure how pro r those pro u mention... if i were to b nintendo,i will keep the price of 3ds more than usd200... by now,all of us know that there will b no 3d psp anytime soon n 3ds would b the only console that have 3d effect... hence there would b no competitor... anyway,it is up to NonaHadzir to choose...

Haha, after reading all your comments, i'm not sure to buy it or not. I'm also interested in 3ds after i read it on the net. but as kyu85 said, it might be more than usd200. that will cost alot of money, since i'm still a student and i'll be using my own money xD

anyway, if i buy ndsi/lite, can the games be play at the upcoming 3ds ?

i think the error got nothing to do with dead pixel..
try reformatting your sd card..if the problem persist, buy a new micro sd card

from what i read, you can't put photos from your pc onto the DSi
your best solution is to use a homebrew software, i recommend NDS image viewer

that's because they just resize the screen, not the resolution
it's noticeable on some 3D games, but it wasn't that blocky,
people with very sharp eyes would even say NDSL got blocky graphics

yup, i know, just its finally appear at the same time...

i do re-format my sd, but the message still appear, i also
replace back the backup file, the message tell that maybe
moonshl folder or sd need to format...

try to google my problems but still didnt get the rite answer...

Please do remember...

DSi and above console are region lock-ed.. Due to the DSiShop thingy...
Some Great and unique game ONLY released in JAP...
example: tales of innocent, tomodachi collection, love plus....
if there is further version of the game in 3ds.. please dont be surprised...

but all "read-able and understand-able" Game will release in US... later...
example:Pokemon series, kingdom heartz, level 5's game....

did you try using a new sd card? if all else fails..just get a new card
