better be careful..those RM400+ ndsl with mario/pokemon picture are usually recon set. limited edition should cost a lot more.i asked one of the shops selling those kind of ndsl, they say it's not original, korean recon set.hence the quality is not good as original ndsl.

which quality u refer to? the graphic? the materials use?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting myself a ds console, but I'm not very sure whether to get ndsl or ndsi. I know that ndsi has the camera function, slightly smaller size, media function, better wireless...blah blah, but is it worth the price difference?

So yeah, the main thing is I'm wondering what are the current market price for both ndsl and ndsi in KL, and also where to locate trustable sellers.

Oh, and I'd like to know which card to get. Total noob at this.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

I think that the new 3ds will probably cost 1k+ and will take a while to get to malaysia. plus, i think i will probably need to wait for new cards that are compatible with the new console. so for now, i'm still opting for either ndsl or ndsi. Please recommend me trusted sellers and the price for each model. Thanks lots.

Like what u urself said, dsi has 2 camera, bigger size(not smaller), bigger screen size, a bit shorter battery life, more expensive, better button(others claimed), no gba slot etc. Dsl is smaller, has a bit longer battery life, gba slot, softer response button, cheaper, no camera etc. In short, choose dsi if u want to play dsi ware games which are dsi-only or dsl if u want to utilize the gba slot.

i believe wat ballistix89 trying to said is that wait for the 3ds to b officially launch... by that time, there should b changes to ndsl/ndsi/ndsill price... then only u purchase it... anyway,a brand new ndsl is RM400 without anything else... ndsi i dunno... imo, ndsl is better... even ndsi screen is a bit bigger than ndsl,it dun really have much different... n wat for u need a camera on nds when u phone oledi have 1?

what is the difference between dsi japan n us?
well you got major difference....DSISHOP
dsi Jap... all Japanese... if you can read and understand! Go for it...
DSISHOP in DSi Japan X same with DSISHOP in DSi US... (some release are region specialty)

can we play us games in japan console?
Yes and NO
DS game worked fine (COZ no region lock)
DSI game ARE REGION SPECIFIC... see the manual (which mean US play US dSI game... JAP play JAP DSI game)

is it possible to mod japan console to us?
Currently no.
Some said it is a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE....

BTW, there are also korean, Australia, Europe and many other version of DSi available....
recommended = US

The upcoming Nintendo 3DS can do everything - gyroscope, analog stick, 2 cameras, 3D without glasses, take 3D digital pictures, and watch 3D movies... eh? Watch 3D movies on the go? Far out! Now there's something else I can do on the tube on the way to and back from work.
