You think previous owner stayed at leaked home??? Actually quite easy to spot leakages from older home than newer home.

Beside you can always engage a prof to check the house status before buying.

Buying new also faces similar issues....

I think less electrical issue....more on piping.....bcos all developers cut cost give el cheapo piping....macam japanese cars.

As i mentioned before all my landed properties sure kena piping issue after 2 yrs.....

I stay in a 40 year old landed single storey house.

Was renovated 10 years ago.

They are not anywhere near as expensive to fix.

How sure are you that those new houses you buy won't develop any issues within 5 years of ownership??

The developer (in this case Gamuda) need to ensure the quality of the property. Got lot of lombong timah & paya there. I live just nearby this project in Taman Arked beside Paya Indah Wetland & Kg Selangor Dredging. Some houses ada crack and tanah mendap. The developer previously was OIB.

One of old timer makcik (since 1970++) staying in Selangor Dredging did told me.. "We all banyak duit pun tak beli itu rumah Taman Arked"

Hopefully Gamuda got his own standard of quality that proves them is Premium Class of Developer.

who cares abt land structure??????

Given Gamuda expertise is in engineering, I think that they must have done extensive study and testing before embarking on this project smile.gif

to me it has less to do with developer but more to do with location and the land uses.

of course SIME and IOI are having the best land......agriculture land with palm oil/rubber....but these land also banyak termites.

the rest....tak ada inherited land...semua nak beli or JV.

Correct.

Termites are easier to deal than high water table.

I did concern about this part, did ask some friend who working as civil engineer and most important part is the piling.

if not mistaken Sunway area land also use to be tin mining land. And now it was doing good.

fren, tin mining was the backbone of Malaya and Malaysia economics before...….

how many ex tin mining land exceeded sunway?

this Cove is double the trouble. Not only its ex tin mining land, its also wet land.

Now i just need to spend another 1.5mil to buy a house in gamuda cove in order to use the 5g service???
