Yea I kinda thought so too so I used the FSM chart function and plotted Principal Greater China and Emerging Market Opp to answer the question.

The Greater China fund beat the Emerging Market Opp for 1Y, 3Y, 5Y and 10Y period. I mean, we won't know what the future holds but historically, it's not looking good for Emerging Market, haha.
*
My Principal Greater China still holds the biggest allocation in my funds.

United Emerging Market only my supplementary at the moment with the least allocation

Bursa seen to outperform peers in Asia-Pacific

user posted image

PETALING JAYA: With 2021 set to be a year of rebound for corporate earnings, the Malaysian stock market may emerge as the best performer in the Asia-Pacific region.

Leading the surge in earnings would be the gaming, property, chemicals, gloves and healthcare sectors.

According to Credit Suisse, local equities’ net profits in 2021 are forecast to leap by nearly 59% as compared to an estimated decline of 29% this year.

This would likely surpass the projected 2021 net profit growth of Singapore (41.1%), South Korea (40.9%), India (37.1%), Hong Kong (33.7%) and China (18.5%), among others.

Kinda agree with you but I still see Opportunity for a healthy rebound to the Malaysia sector, short term wise. If Malaysia sector starts to be stagnant by middle of next year, I’ll divert my Malaysia sector funds

A respite doesn't mean the the problem isn't there.
A government with a clear or renewed mandate would be catalyst for Malaysian market to move out from the trading range.

New worries for Bursa Malaysia

user posted image

PETALING JAYA: Major indexes in the region got off on a jittery start this week with renewed headwinds just days before the world takes a break for the festive season.

Most markets in the region took a beating as investors remained cautious and took profits due to a new “uncontrollable” Covid-19 strain which has sent the United Kingdom into an emergency lockdown that might see other nations following suit.

Not even the US$900bil stimulus package that was struck in the United States Congress managed to lift sentiment as recent developments cast dark clouds over the global economic recovery.

Global shares edge up as Trump signs US$2.3 trillion aid bill

TOKYO (Dec 28): Global shares climbed on Monday after US President Donald Trump signed into law a US$2.3 trillion pandemic aid and spending package, backing down from his earlier threat to block the bipartisan bill.

Markets cheered the move as it will restore unemployment benefits to millions of Americans and avert a federal government shutdown in the world's largest economy.

Not sure will this news has any impact on healthcare funds but looking into Pfizer shares this year, it shoot up early Dec and now it drops back down. Shouldn’t Pfizer shares move upwards? Thinking about putting some savings into healthcare too
