sorry bro still very new in this field
while i know about absolute returns (meaning point to point calculation) but because i am not sure on how or when the fees are charged to the investors, im still abit clueless  shocking.gif

are recurrent fees deducted from the NAV? that would mean the absolute returns = nett returns after deducting all fees?

from FSM FAQs

1. What are the charges do I have to pay?
There are 2 types of charges. One is the sales charge and the other is the annual expense of the fund.

At FSMOne, all equity fund sales charge for cash investment are charge at 1.5% while EPF investment are charge at 1.5%. From time to time, our investors enjoy promotional sales charge. The sales charge is applied when you purchase a fund.

The annual expense of the fund includes the fund managers’ annual management fee, trustee fee and other administrative and marketing expenses. You do not have to fork out additional money to pay for the funds’ annual expenses to the fund manager. The expenses have already been accounted for on a pro-rated basis before the fund price (Net Asset Value) is published daily.

Today's affin Global Disruptive innovation fund will be down more 5%
Yesterday Arkk's price hit the new low.
Is it better time to top up as I couldn't predict, what will be it's lowest price.
Will it plunge to the worse or is it over? Don't know.
Already my affin disruptive fund is down more than 20‰.
Bought at 31/12/2020 and continuous DCA to trim my recent day's losses, but this this worst.
Anyone have invested in affin global disruptive fund?

newbie here, how is this fees compare to moomoo, tiger broker?
*
For me, there are other more important things to concern than the concern of the variance of fees for a newbie.
Like for example, ease of opening an a/c, do you need to open a foreign bank a/c also? , ease of contact for any queries, any concern of repatriation of money back to msia? Etc etc...
Btw, read back postings from last page.... There had been some discussion abt comparing of fees.

Or continue with RSP and then top up again during this promotion event.

my guess is no.
the current markets movements will have a more major considerations when deciding to do that.

btw, RSP is AUTO set in during RSP subscription.....
manual top ups is when have money and shioks shioks
