Is it worth to upgrade from r5 3600 to r7 3700x especially for 1440 gaming?

I wanted to built a 5900x system, but couldn't find any in stock at reasonable price for the past 2 months
so I got a 5800x instead few weeks back, currently all the parts are at my friend's place in process of building waterloop

today I got wind of 5900x back in stock and selling without bundle
my question is should I get the 5900x and sell off the 5800x?

originally gave up on 5900x and planned to use 5800x until when AMD releases 5900XT later then swap (if they make it)

I might be able to source an extra 5800X without retailer scalping but it'll be with a mobo combo.

AFAIK, nothing can only be RMA once. as long as its under warranty period, you can definitely send in for warranty claim.

Do you think got ppl buy 2nd hand 5800x at Rm2k . Dont mind selling it at loss but then i buy it as set. Not so sure how the buyer claim in future.

rocketlake’s midrange is pretty cheap actually... and currently intel 10600K above dont have to bundle. Only the 10400F need to bundle with mobo because people are whacking it due to 3600 no stock. AMD’s price and stock is mostly related to TSMC. There’s no reason for intel to face shortages... while for price hike, it’s probably due to the price increase om the subtrates.. which is why recently everything semiconductor related even automotive is affected.

i wont be malaysia by then. hopefully SG/AUS wont have the bundling horror hahaha.

I think there are people in Garage Sales selling Amazon units for RM2.0k. I'm surprised the x570 supports 2700X, didn't knew that haha!
I'm also using the 2700X and think that if you play high FPS games, then the 5800X is kind of worth and will age better than 5600X. 
I also think the 5900X is too expensive, and it'll be a LONG time before games eats up more than 16 threads.
