But when i visiting most of the IT shops, 95% of their lappy are Intel inside, htpc, mini pc, ect, Pre-ryzen era may be it was acceptable because intel still a better choice, now still no difference at all.
Zotac used to had very nice line up of Ryzen mini pc, now only have TWO of them, two.
HP online shop selling 39 lappy, 38 are intel inside.
Ryzen lappy are like legendary pokemon.
Intel stock pile from 7th gen to 10th gen need to clear.... how you expect OEM to sell 50/50 AMD laptops?
Hi guys, I'm running 3300x with B450m. Task manager (Win 10 Pro) always report the maximum base frequency (3.8 Ghz). I have installed the latest chipset driver and selected Ryzen Balanced. However, the reported frequency when using Ryzen Master are different (4xx MHz when idle & 4xxx MHz when running benchmark). Is this an issue with Windows?

check mobo settings GN did a piece on how mobo manufacturers basically pre overclock your systems because they look good on benchmarks
it's just like 9900KS, does not mean 9900K straight into EOL. the XT CPUs are probably a better binned product, who knows if it can do all core 4.6GHz a few of my 3900X cores can't stabilise at 4.4GHz but runs perfectly at 4.3 all core OC.
the XT CPUs are just like a mini response to intel 10th gen since I fail to see that it can go head to head on intel's gaming performance. the actual response to intel 10th gen should be Zen 3 instead.
i5-760 was best nahalem era Core CPU i5-750 can suck Phenom didi
I've just got my new ryzen 3600 and this is my first time using AMD. Before this I'm using Intel so I'm bit clueless where exactly should I find the ryzen driver. Because I googled 3600 driver it go straight to this link and I just see the ryzen master only on the driver tab. Is that the correct link for the driver?
I thought the Renoir 4200/4400G will have less GPU CU compared to 3200/3400G. Is it a good idea to snap out the hopefully discounted 3400G+B450? I don't plan to upgrade over the next 2-3 years. Just building a media pc to dump all my old HDD on it
I dont think it's a problem with less GPU performance, but less GPU performance increase over previous generation. If truly worse IGP performance, then laff die me
Yup, there are developers out there who optimize their game properly. Some games is beautiful at max settings while maintaining high FPS.
Honestly.....Bathesda and DICE.....
Bathesda Fallout 4 require 4GB VRAM even on 1080p, but graphics look as bad as Fallout 3 in some places......
DICE Frostbite enigne make every environment look as reaslitic as online panaroma pictures from professional photographer......... can run on something as meager as 1GB VRAM......
Then Valve and Source engine from 2004....... Those facial expressions still look more realistic than 90% of animated faces on film and 95% of games....
Hey guys, i'm currently stuck between choosing a Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 7 3700x, if i'm going to live streaming, does the performance differs a lot between them that paying RM500ish extra for the 3700x will justify it? Or i could save it and use the RM500 on something else instead?
change my dying i5 4460 to 3700x + b450 mortar max last 2 week. best feeling everrrr. found at rextech fb, buy 3700x or above processor now and get free asssasins creed valhalla. i just upgrade last 2 weeks
HL3 is the stuff grandparents will tell as their life's biggest regrets.
But shouldn't there be higher thermal binned APUs they need to put into desktops? Hoping it gets out on Oct 8 announcements... thats 4 months after "Release"
desktop market smaller than laptop by a large margin.... most consumers just think cannot move desktop up and down only..... they dont think of upgradability because frankly speaking, most people dont upgrade
