Am thinking whether to change my rad fan to Arctic p12 about rm120 for 3 fans
Or straight change to Arctic liquid freezer 360 rm600..

QUOTE(yimingwuzere @ Dec 2 2020, 09:31 AM) Looking to grab a new ITX board. Not sure about own.. but don't think you should invest on x570 for itx board.. save the dollar and go for b550Anyone knows which B550/X570 supports voltage control for 3-pin fans controlled by GPU temps? Out of the game for new mobo advancements. |

QUOTE(edmund_yung @ Dec 7 2020, 10:24 AM) I don't change CPU so much like you guys do, i5-3570k was my first build after started working for comeback to PC gaming. It was great for good 4 years until BF1 stutter. I decided to quadruple the thread count by getting Ryzen 2700X from oversea. It did solve stutter issue but honestly choosing the i7-8700k could've aged better in gaming especially when OC'd to 5GHz. 5600x should be good enough for normal gaming but if you do other than gaming.. i.e encoding etc.. go for 5900xI'm waiting to get 5600X because I need that single threaded performance now in MS Flight Simulator. With default setting (and auto OC) 5600x can get to 4.85Mhz @ 1.425V With the new agesa coming out soon.. i bet it can reach this clock at much lower voltage ![]() |

QUOTE(sonyfanzz @ Dec 7 2020, 10:51 AM) how is your temp with auto oc? i keep getting temperature spike with pbo and auto oc so I closed both of them. so far no effect on my game fps yet i only use this for gaming & office work..While gaming max temp is 80C ... on 360 rad AIO ( with Arctic F12 fans).. Average in game is 75C.. But in idle my temp would be 50C ![]() Fan intake is set to 68% PWM.. i cant stand noise higher than this sonyfanzz liked this post

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Dec 10 2020, 05:22 PM) just received my b550i. threw everything on it all seems well. my pcie finally detected as 16X. Cpu Idle voltage and temps are the same with my B450 so it’s all decent. Doing cable management soon? Btw which model is your b550.. I see that you made wise choice going b550 over x570 on ITXMaybe im a gaygaybird fag so im liking this bios way more than the MSI’s. [ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Dec 13 2020, 09:51 AM) this. i was planning for a budget amd rig. end up buying old X79 platform (budget less than RM300 for cpu, mobo and ram). no regret. QUOTE(climacool @ Dec 13 2020, 11:22 PM) Hi guys, i just build my 5600x with corsair h150i xt pro AIO and it's my 1st time using AIO...I still not familiar with the fans & pump curve setting. When i tried to set balanced, the pump & fans run at max speed at 70c...is that normal ? How much is the temperature for idle & gaming time normally ? QUOTE(TristanX @ Dec 14 2020, 09:31 AM) My Corsair H115i Pro doesn't go max speed with Balanced. It will only go max speed with Extreme setting. I'm using 5600x on 360 rad ; change to AC F12 fans... idle normal ard 52C.. at night ard 48C .. max in gaming 70 ish ; avg ard 66My 5900X idles at 45-49C. Load can go up to 82C. Remember regardless using heatsink or rad ; the most important is the air flow... I have 6 fans on intake and 3 out (rad fan) to answer your question.. set the fan curve based on YOUR PREFERENCE.. the CPU can run fine until TjMAX at 95c.. anything below that its fine.. even when exceed it just throttle back since I'm using Thermaltake case fans which can go up to 2500 rpm ; I usually set to 70% fan speed ; that's the noise I can tolerate,, yours may differ climacool liked this post

QUOTE(sentlon @ Dec 14 2020, 05:43 PM) Are you running on negative pressure case? U need at least 1 intake front case and 1 exhaust if you using stock cooler.. And perhaps you can re apply the thermal paste to see if got any diff |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Dec 30 2020, 10:42 AM) How about wait more years for it to be free latest patch 1.06 should solve all those issues those who encountered when first launch...Similar. I mostly buy game at discount now ( just purchased SotTR this month ), as dont play game as much now. I did however decided to pay full price for Cyberpunk 2077, it's worth it IMO. Although I still dont like the idea of pre-order, it's causing game developer to 'not care' about releasing games in buggy state, coz gamers just throw money to them anyway. So far, CP2077 wasnt too buggy for me to stop playing, guess I waited long enough for them to fix critical bugs. So far, crashed once and never again. Some funny glitches that didnt affect gameplay. |
