I bought my hamster from a dog grooming shop.  The shop owner told me someone asked him to sell on behalf when his hamster gave birth, that was about 6 months ago, and this hamster is the last one left.  So, the shop owner was just keeping it, with no intention to sell.

Until last weekend when I sent my dog for bathing, my son saw it and liked it very much.  I also like him a lot, so i bought it.  I took the whole package as it is, ie. the existing cage plus the hamster, all in RM30.

I find the cage is a bit small also, but easy to maintain.  I'm thinking of buying a 2-level cage so he can do some climbing, but would prefer the wire type coz more ventilation.  Right now, to compensate the small cage, we always let the hamster out to roam at the sofa when he is awake, but after a while, he will go & sleep in the box that I provided for him! 

What caused the hamster to change coat?  Is it because all the while he was at the shop & it's air-cond?

My Baba (ww gen) just give birth but I dunno when the babies born. 2day (saturday) as usual i wanna wash the cage. I took the cage ouytside my hse where there is pipe for me to wash. Suddenly got 1 baby crawl out (like ppl back swim out). I was so surprise n quickly bring back the cage inside the hse. It was a red pinkie baby.  This is 1st time my Baba pregnant because she used to live alone until last month my friend give me her male to me. I cant believe she pregnant and I din notice she got fat. She is thin n black color, I take her on my hand n the weight still the same. Really a big surprise I saw the babies. 

I am here just want to share out my happy moment right now. haha... Hopefully Baba take care the baby until they can run n survive themselves. Until now Im not sure got how many babies inside since I dun dare to open the hse n c (the hse is white in color n blue top) but rougly I saw got 3 la. And also I dunno when Baba born them. 

Any guidance please dun mind let me noe. 

last time I got 1 female named Bobo but deceased edi. I named them a unisex name coz last time i dunno whether they r female or male. Both of them are gift from my friend during birthday.

btw i wanna ask, should i remove the male coz everytime my female come out from the hse the male rape her... I afraid she cant eat enough.

all the pups is inside the hse and I dun have chance to c the pups yet. But yesterday the mom accidently drag out the pups out n when she saw them she put them back inside the hse.

they are inside the hse, if something wrong with the pups i also dunno. haiz...

now i can only do is pray   pray for the pups survive. 

i think dien said tat petalling street there.. theres a shop named "zoological supplies" got sell those suction cup.
