Hi!
Just notice this thread.. tomorrow plan to get one for my boss.. planning to get the lowest spec core i3 with 128gb ssd.. got few questions:
1. how many partitions does this lappy have?
2. does c drive easily filled up? my boss has a bad habit storing all documents at desktop
3. does this ssd is normal sata3 or pcie?
4. how is battery life?
5. keyboard is given or you have to buy it?
6. when connected to keyboard is it comfortable to use it on our lap esp on travel? do the keyboard easily disjointed from the tablet?
7. how long is the warranty?
8. can we connect to projector?
sorry asking so many questions
Hopefully someone can answer me.. Thank You in advance!

I'll try. Hope my answers will be satisfactory.
1. 3 partitions. 2 tiny system partitions, one hidden and one containing the drivers and stuff; and the main C partition.
2. There should be around 80-90GB available on C. Not sure if that's enough, but if you get the latest Kaby Lake version you MIGHT get a microSD slot. Also, the main SSD is upgradable, but ONLY if you have the nerve to DIY and open up your boss' tablet yourself as Lenovo/the shop won't do it for you.
3. The SSD is PCIe, more specifically an m2 NGFF 2280 NVMe. And, like I said before, if you don't mind DIY, it's self upgradable up to 1TB. Even the actual service manual is available from Lenovo support. That said, if you make too much of a mess opening it up, you might void the warranty... so yeah.
It's possible though - I'm personally rocking a 512GB Samsung NVMe right now myself.
4. 5-6 hours nominal. 7 if you really tune stuff down.
5. Keyboard is given. The active pen/stylus should be as well, but I've heard conflicting reports in regards to that for the i3 version - by right it should be included but some have said otherwise.
6. Unfortunately, by design, these Surface Pro alike hybrids aren't quite made to be used as easily on the lap as normal laptops. It can be done (and the Miix 510's strong keyboard magnets help) but it's still quite awkward without an actual table to set it on.
7. Warranty is 1 year including accidental damage protection. The i5/i7 version gets 2 years though.
8. Yea, using the right Type-C converter (Type-C-VGA or Type-C-HDMI). Thankfully converters are easy to find at any computer shops thanks to the Macbooks also going the Type-C way.
And that's about it I think. I'll be around if you have any further questions, so feel free to ask summore.
