well just back from COSE SC today (whole day from 9.15 am to 5 pm)
i can say this is correct. Proton guy remove completely the whole back parcel plus some plastic thing and add lot of sponge in between car frame and the parcel thing.
noise is gone but there still vibration sound (suspect the seat clamp as sound like hard disk spinning in casing) (sound like zeeeeerrrrr, zeerrrrrrr
)
gonna add more sponge on external like you suggest
also had this issue.
when push the proton engineer guy (spot by looking at their badge when they look around my car), then he mention this is common issue as there first badge supplier for drum brake lining and house that cause the problem.
the housing (brake drum) on first batch tend to warp on high heat and cause the thing to expand uncontrollable (even show me some engineering document on this)
end up replacing both drum brake housing and lining on rear section.
conclusion... no more funny brake sound when slamming brake (use to have sound like someone knocking a metal door rapidly when slamming brake) (sound like tak, tak, tak
)
this issue also solve there. tbh they mention that new firmware were flash as the OEM provide new firmware
(funny thing as this is only standard radio and not the android thingy and donno whether this is true or not)
What to do at that place for so long ? For nearby bus to travel ?i can say this is correct. Proton guy remove completely the whole back parcel plus some plastic thing and add lot of sponge in between car frame and the parcel thing.
