QUOTE(ywen996 @ Oct 16 2024, 06:23 PM) Hi, 3 year MC1 MT owner here. Maybe you can consider to invest some money on silicon wiper. MrDiy one's are OK for me, doesn't have to spend too much unless you willing to, your money your choice. Silicon wiper's lifespan is way longer than rubber wipers, considering i park outdoor everyday. Headlamp I just swapped to y3 Mini Projector from shopee this Feb. I can see the light beam shine onto the road much clearer during the night, but still not strong enough imo. But again, i can see improvement from the stock bulb and im happy with it. And most important is has a cutoff line so it doesn't shine to other drivers. Just my 2cents. My experience, Tesco/ Lotus silicone wiper works better than Mr Diy Silicone wiper. Wipe properly and last a bit longer. But if bought Shopee mall one, the silicone wiper works much2 better. Regular 4S Silicone wiper here

It depends. If im Proton/ SC, this is my money pit to customer. Rm60 filters change for a rm10 part is good business. Once owner want to DIY change the ac filter, saw the cover, sure turn off to proceed.

Recently, my mum's MC2 (YM2023, 1500km) started showing some unusual behavior. On 31/12, the engine light came on unexpectedly after a cold start. I checked around the car and didn't notice any fluid leaks, and the engine oil level appears healthy. However, while idling, the radiator fan runs at full speed. At the dashboard, the temperature gauge shows 3 bars.
I’ve booked an appointment with SC, earliest slot available is on 13/1, but it’s quite a wait. In the meantime, I tried removing the TCM fuse for 5 minutes and then putting it back in (read some FB posts saying could be something to do with TCM?). After restarting the car, the engine light turned off, and all went normal—so I assume this reset the system?
Everything seemed fine for a few days, but today, the radiator fan started running at full blast again. This time, the temperature gauge only shows 2 bars, even after driving for more than 10km.
Is this normal, or should I ensure I visit the SC on 13/1 to have it checked?

But scumbags at Proton decided to put a cover and lock it using a bolt so that you need to have a socket wrench to open it.. Even regular spanner/wrench cant open it due to the way they design it.. Then they charge you RM59 for a freaking cabin filter This post has been edited by Optizorb: Jan 11 2025, 12:36 PM

QUOTE(Tirek @ May 27 2025, 09:46 PM) Hi Do anyone know when will proton launching new saga ? Most say second half of 2025 but suspect launch Q4 delivery 2026 is likely. Have been saving up cash for MG3 Hybrid, eMas5 or D66B but will book Saga 1.5 hatchback manual if it comes out.
