rattling noise suddenly appear from the left side shotgun seat air con. Opened up the drawer to check but didn't find any place suspicious. Anyone got tips how to solve this?

It is not from the drawer I can confirm because I did some DIY on my drawer so the rattling noise from drawer was gone since the early days.

Hello there. Need ask otai-otai here. I have a 2018 Proton Saga Manual, awaiting 30,000km service. The service center told me need do car computer service and there will be charge RM60++. Is that normal? Manual car also need update computer system?
*
can download Proton app, inside can check what is the must-do items. Other than what is shown in the app, that is the 4S shop trying to scare you. You can ask what is the reason to do the service, and what happens if you choose not to do.

these 4S shops always try to scam people that are lack of knowledge in their cars. mad.gif

Not 4S. Just a service centre. And it's Proton authorized service center 😅 I think I do have bad experience dealing with KL Proton authorized dealer and authorized service center. Next time I may try service center of other places.
*
by 4S i mean those proton-proton service centers tongue.gif i know in malaysia it is hard to have 4S , at most they will have 3S only.

Anyway, if you no longer have free service with Proton, I don't see any point to go their service centers anymore. Do outside at those specialist shops is way better and cheaper

Hi guys, I'm my saga is premium spec.  When u have the car lights on, Is your parking and door lock light indicator turning on as well?

I filed a complain on this and the SC keep saying that's normal.
*
how is that normal? bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

you can lodge a complain to Proton HQ, then go to another SC. Proton SC and 4S/3S now all under Geely's pressure, 1 simple complain to the HQ will get them into trouble.

lets see the price how..

anyone can explain if new 4t from hyundai will be better than punch me gao gao cvt?
in term performance, fc, and maintenance  notworthy.gif
*
lol these safety + outside feature I can pura2 tak tau whistling.gif
but the dashboard + meter I see it everyday cry.gif

Generally AT FC > CVT FC, but not sure if the hyundai AT is so good that it is even better than the Nissan CVT? (correct me if I wrong, saga cvt is using Nissan CVT)
performance AT sure got the gear changing jerking lo, CVT smooth smooth.
maintenance I think around the same,
AT - many little maintenance required over the years,
CVT - single big maintenance required after a few years

General speaking, NVH Axia and Bezza are much more better than Saga BLM/FL/FLX from my experience although all of them are lack of insulation and noise control. On Axia and Bezza you wont find much annoy unpleasant humming noise comparing to Saga BLM/FL/FLX. Here i am comparing Axia/Bezza and Saga BLM/FL/FLX only. It doesnt mean that Axia and Bezza have good NVH.
*
i dunno where you get that "axia doesnt have much annoying humming noise", axia is using 3 cylinders engine, it shakes a lot during idle (stop) and hums so much during acceleration.

Edit: Sorry I saw you were comparing to BLM, I only experienced FLX and CVT before, both engine roars and idling at much lower noise than Axia.

Actually I'm willing to try out saga due to can get car fast. At least I get to know what is proton handling that everyone here say is good. Like I said earlier, I'm looking for a fuel saving car but the long waiting list made me very piss off.

Where the hell got money but can't get car??? Is utterly absurb.
*
FC only - Bezza
Everything else (especially wallet-friendly) - Saga.

I don't really see any advantage on Bezza especially after seeing Saga2019 announced. Yes, you might save around 10-20% on petrol when you go for Bezza, but also you have to bare with the smaller cockpit, back passengers being uncomfortable, bad cornering experience, relatively unstable when driving at highway.

If you are single, fresh graduate, drives alone most of the time in city, just need a car so you don't need to take grab to work, otaku at home 90% of the weekends, only need to fetch others once or twice a year, get Bezza. Otherwise, Saga is a definite choice here.

P.S. : Oh ya, most of the pokemon lovers also like to buy bezza, as it has much better FC for them to "GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL"

He is repeating the same question and answer. Just ignore him.

He even say he sell his Bezza to buy Bezza again.

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Aug 10 2019, 09:07 PM)
My old Bezza already aging. Why can't I sell? If Bezza proven give low FC & high RV, why can't I buy again?

I was hoping to but saga but when I read thru all your comments here & there, so I made up my mind which model shall I buy...can't meh?
*
If you just purely looking at low FC and high RV like most of the Perodua/Toyota lover, then you should not even consider Saga, or even, you should not consider Proton at all.

Every car has its problems, please tell me if your Bezza is so flawless and has low FC and high RV.

But if you keep on ignoring the good and focusing only at the bad of Saga compared to Bezza, then you should just sell your old Bezza and buy a new Bezza again, because your mindset is already "oh hail mighty Perodua produces the best car with low FC and high RV which tell everything about a car. A car value is only its FC and RV, not other thing at all".

It just seems funny to me that some of the people buy cars depending only at its FC and RV dry.gif

Also, bare in mind that 99% of people come to car forum just to complain, so you will be seeing problems being shared here only. The only way to find out whether a car is good or not, is to go book a test drive. People won't be out of the sudden, open up lowyat forum, then start sharing "hell yeah nearly hit a dog today but luckily Saga's handling is good!"

Hmm finally this saga vvt thread is active haha. Welcome welcome!

I still can't solve one minor small buzzing(rattle?) sound at my centre console (the radio area). Only during rough surface driving.

When I apply hand pressure to the open box under neath the radio, the noise disappears. Tried placing an eraser in between the box slot to apply constant pressure but the noise still occur.

Saga vvt manual 2016
*
same problem, get used to it only since it only happens when driving fast at industrial roads full of holes. I think it is somewhere between the box and the radio. Can't be bothered since I am going to change the radio to android player soon (around RM300) . It seems to be quite a famous thing in the Saga group now biggrin.gif

Do you face excessive wind noise from left front window side at speeds more than 110kmh? Protom sc said because of my wind visor but my right side ok jer :/
*
mine doesnt have that problem. But I did put visor before but took it off recently, the wind noise does reduce very much after that biggrin.gif

can check if the visor is loosing already, mine after a year some of the 3M tape start to fall off. Just reapply the 3M and see if that solves the problem

I went to test drive ytd..
In my opinion, the brake and gas pedal are fine to me. I think they design in such a high and low position is to prevent user wrongly step on the gas pedal when come to emergency situation?
Saga 1. 3L for me is a little bit under power because I used to drive 1.5L car. But city drive for a 1.3L car is conlanfirm  no problem 1.
For handling part, the saga give me confident when I make a sharp u turn, but for bezza I feel like the ass want to buang, not so stable sia.. And I must say the  saga cabin is really really  quite and comfort if compare to bezza.. Good job proton. But if proton give a better stock tyre I think the nvh can be improved more..
If bezza or saga, I will go for saga.  I can sacrifice FC and RV but I cannot sacrifice the  comfort, ride n handling and nvh.. This is my personal thoughts la.. Peace
*
exactly same as me.

I sit inside my colleague's Bezza, and some moment I feel my life is at danger (exaggerate a bit tongue.gif ) whenver he does a turn at 40kmph to 60kmph. Bezza handling is just..... for city jamming drive I would say

Dear sifus,

I noticed all the discussion here between CVT and 4AT Saga

The question is here.

I currently own a CVT VVT Saga , Year 2018 with Mileage 6380.

So as I asked most of the SA, the highest they take in is only RM 28k.

What are all of your advices?
Stick to the CVT VVT or?
I'll need serious advices as I had issues to think this through.

Please help. Thanks.
*
The only justification to do that is if you are rich AF and have a lot of money to waste.

But as someone who can only afford A-segment car like myself, I will definitely not recommend it
