GTX1050Ti can rival GTX680 in modern games, GTX1060 can match GTX980.

Also CUDA is pretty awesome (AMD's OpenCL is great now too), for example GTX1070, 1080, 1080Ti can match those 16 core CPUs in Blender 3D rendering speed using CUDA, not much problem for amateur 3D users since GPUs now usually pack 8GB of VRAMs.

Why you need DSR?

bcoz ayam got no 4k monitor
so in order not to waste the 1080ti horsepower, now i game in 4k for every game i could except fast pace FPS like overwatch. (mostly SP games)

DSR stands for Dynamic Super Resolution. This featured was introduced 2 years ago.

When being turned on, the graphics card will renders a game at higher resolution and downsampling to the lower resolution(s) for output. This way, the images of the game will look sharp and clean and no jiggles without relying on any anti-aliasing techniques.

Let's say the game is rendering at 4K resolution and downsampled to Full HD resolution for example.

Of course there's a weakness on DSR or any downsampling techs; You would need a powerful graphics card as rendering game at resolution that is higher than your monitor's maximum resolution requires more graphics processing power.

If no mistake, your monitor is 1440p @ 60Hz right? All you need is crank up the graphic setting to the highest as possible depending what type of game titles.

FYI, I'm using i5-4460 + GTX 1070 + 1440p @ 59Hz (59.949 - 0.007 = 59.942) + V-Sync On (NvCpl) & turn off every V-Sync in-game settings.
