The trick to getting helpful staff at agent banks is to go to a bank branch when there are very few customers on queue and the bank staff are *Not Pressed* for time to serve the short queue. So try to avoid lunch time and "pay day" periods.

IMHO, my favourite place is BSN branches that serve many elderly unkers/aunties/pensioners but go after lunch when these elderlies avoid coming out in the hot afternoon weather. These branches are overseen by a Regional BSN Officer(specially for PNB-ASB). She covers PJ and Shah Alam areas. I made 4 trips over 3 days and managed to open all 3 accounts.

Hmm BSN branch huh??
Normally its sucks.. But since u says it give good service & managed to open new account.. Maybe can look for it tongue.gif

I want to ask sifus here...

I got a loan account, which I have made some partial payoff. It's a semi-flexi loan, which i can withdraw with a fee.

The loan account is for a property which I no longer intend to keep (change of plans). Initially i put there is to reduce the interest payment.

My question is, is it more practical to withdraw from flexi loan (4.35%) , to put in PNB funds ? How will it affect my current loan term/ interest payment etc?

Some people ask me to keep the money in loan account to reduce daily interest charge.

But I have been thinking, since I am no longer keen to keep the property but intend to sell it, then no point for partial payoff right?

Since we are at the topic of interest rate, what is the pros and cons of diversifing into FDs in Indonesia as the BNI bank FD rate is at 6.5% p.a.(see link below).

https://indonesia.deposits.org/time-deposits.html

Is there another LYN forum to address this topic?

Tumpang. Have the same question but mortgage for own stay. Should pay more for the loan or save in ASNB first?

Dividend is based on lowest amount of the month. You topup now, your oct dividend for RM10k is not counted asyour lowest amount is (RMX - RM10k)

If go ASNB office still got chance. From my mother's experience, after verification, the staff will keep trying for the units until reach the amount you want. But may take a long time if large amount.

Frankly,... from what I heard in SG when I went there to do my Rights Issue recently,.. they are tightening their rules against our investors going in.

So,... PNB will continue to reap more and more benefits in the years to come when Malaysians can't invest in SG anymore.

U can only open new account OTC...

As for your silly question..
Based on paper.. No effects because its independent from BN.. Its govern by trustee..
But since the fund invest in Bursa Malaysia.. And with BN lost the Fed Gomen.. Market crash.. Thus have negative effects.. Anyone who invest direct into the market will suffers... All UT including FSM (Malaysia focus or have significant exposure) will be effected too... No way to run..

If you had opened ASW2020 fund and registered MyASNB, you can buy via MyASNB online for ASW2020 only
