They want to make every citizen have amanah saham account. Bet it won't be much. But govt giving free money, take la.

I only managed to get 46k of ASM on 3/4. Then over last 3 days, got 23k, 19k and 6.55k. Added in 94.55k of ASM this week.

Will be stopping any top up for a while. Lopsided now with ASM highest, higher than AS1M.

Now the question is which ASx fund?!

Or all give new ASx fund?? ASM 2

After 4 days from 3-Apr (Monday) to 6-Apr (Thursday), accumulated quite a number of ASM.... my ratio now become

5: 2.5: 2.5 for ASM : AS1M : ASW

Hunting season going to end soon, at first we could hunt elephants, giraffes, now probably hunting some small birds....

Most of us are happy hunting the targets, the next hunting season will be 1-Sept and 1-Oct, so get ready your bullets for this.

However thinking back that every time the declaration of the dividend, million or billion of units being hunt down, what i can see is that the size of the ASM has been growing slowly, if ASM has been around 14 years, it probably triple the size by this juncture, so wonder all the money flow in and flow out to where and which investment ...

For the money flow in, what i can see most of them are very highly loaded with cash, and people may not putting cash in bank account in FD, or saving account etc, as money flow out, are all in local investment vehicles, if in local share market, which counters selected ....

Of course the bank can access the system, if not how can you purchase units from them.

I top up my units from MBB and thereafter ask to change my spouse data which was wrong. She asked to fill up form and said cannot change immediately. I went pnb office, change it and log in to portal immediately.

Having that feeling as well now.

PNB cadang diberi sejumlah wang bagi membuka akaun amanah saham secara automatik


PUTRAJAYA 6 April - Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) mencadangkan setiap bayi yang dilahirkan di negara ini diberikan sejumlah wang untuk dilaburkan dalam akaun amanah saham secara automatik dalam usaha meningkatkan peratusan rakyat Malaysia yang memiliki skim amanah saham.

Pengerusi PNB, Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar berkata, ketika ini kira-kira sembilan juta rakyat Malaysia melabur dalam 12.9 juta akaun amanah saham di bawah Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd. (ASNB).

Katanya, PNB kini menguruskan sejumlah RM226 bilion unit amanah saham dan 82 peratus daripadanya merupakan unit yang dipegang oleh kaum bumiputera.

Be careful of what you wish for. If they make everyone to have an account, might lead to bigger fund size. When the fund size is too big, the flexibility is gone. The aa grade investments will be gone and they need to start investing on b grade c grade and so on. That what I think la. Fron 6% slowly becomes 4%

They trying to suggest that units hold by bumiputera still not enough is it?
