For 4Mbps with Hypptv, they will be offered free premium channels for few months.
For 4Mbps without Hypptv, they will be offered useless vouchers in RM XX amount (depend on how long one has been subscribed to 4Mbps package) which can only be used if total purchase exceeds RM100 at gemfive online store.
For 4Mbps who live at KL area (nearby), one would be offered to upgrade to 5Mbps unifi Boomerang VIP5 crap (with higher upload speed) OR 10Mbps ADSL2+ (this one lower upload speed) at higher price.

For streamyx user, there is NO FREE SPEED UPGRADE. This is the only consistent information since last year until today.

Only PAID SPEED UPGRADE will be offered to streamyx users, subject to area and technical limitation. Up to those 'lucky' selected users whether they accept the offer or not.

I don't mind if need to top up a bit to get 10Mbps. The problem is they reluctant to bring higher speed to certain area and their surprise is a joke.

It's always a chicken and egg issue.

TM always say need sufficient demand before they will roll out Unifi to certain areas but people will only want to subscribe when they see that TM has rolled out and the service is stable.

Another issue is with lack of competition, there is little urgency to roll out.

But to give credit where it is due, my experience with TM for Unifi has been good but there is still ample room for improvement.

TM only offer Webe and HyppTV jumbo pack for the thank you surprise but I refuse to accept it and they keep saying that my account is not able to go beyond 30mbps 😡

This is a funny question.

There are thousands of subscribers from few years ago still waiting for their free upgrade.
Most likely they will be scheduled to be upgraded in June. Myself included.
Some will be lucky, getting theirs earlier than June.
So, pray hard and hope to get yours earlier than June.

Just be patience and wait for it. At least you get the chance to wait for the free upgrade not like Streamyx users with just the useless surprise.

How come? I thought you're using UniFi, no?

free upgrade to upper speed plan, understand that up-gradation work is free, but it takes us to new high monthly rate plan, right?  SO customer will have to pay new higher plan rate ,Whether i want or not as it was a gift/reward!

Of course they say- click to continue but information were saying - free upgrade and no contract extension.
